8:30 Meetup, August 10, 2010 edit

When, Where and Why edit

When:Tuesday night August 10, 2010, 8:30pm
Where: RFD in Washington, DC (http://www.lovethebeer.com/rfd.html). 810 7th Street NW.
- It's right off the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro (Red line); from the metro station, go out the H Street exit and walk one block north on 7th street (in the opposite direction from the Verizon Center) and it'll be on your left midway up the block. [1]
Why: After WP:WikiProject United States Public Policy has dinner with Campus Ambassadors and Professors working with them in the DC Area this fall, there will be a round of socializing and generally getting to meet with people in the area. Come and hang out, have fun, meet some of the Foundation staff and locals who are helping with the various outreach activities including Public Policy and the WP:GLAM/SI.
What else:Dinner starting at 6:30 will be offered to 15 people who sign up here on the talk page, see section below.

6:30 Dinner edit

When Where Why edit

When:Tuesday night August 10, 2010, 6:30pm
Where:Same place
Why: Socialize with Wikimedia foundation staff, local professors interested in working with the Wikimedia community and campus ambassadors that are part of the university outreach programs.

Sign up for dinner edit

There is room for a maximum of 15 people, each of which will get dinner paid for by the Foundation. If you sign up you must to attend, non-attendance will unfairly cheat other users out of the opportunity of a free dinner.
