One of the biggest legends in basketball history. The article is close to featured status and if it gets more work done through the GACW, I think it could make it. Remember 14:50, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pokémon is the second most successful Video Game franchise in the world. It is very close to reaching featured status. It has already be an ACID winner. But hopefully succeeding to be the Good article Collaboration of the Week will help it to finally reach Featured Article status. Funpika 23:08, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Of the major planets that are good articles (excluding current FAC Earth), Saturn probably is the most likely to be searched for. I think that the featured topic of the Solar System should be strengthened because (besides maybe the Star Wars featured topic), it is the featured topic that is on the most recognizable topic. — Pious7TalkContribs 02:14, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Truthfully, because there are no nominations right now. Felixboy 15:45, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Good article because there are many links to other articles about Singapore, such as Laws of Singapore, most of which are well written. There are also negative aspects written about Singapore so that the reader doesn't regard the article as an advert for Singapore.VK35 20:32, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment:

  • I am a little concerned that Jews are listed as an ethnicity in the section of the same name, instead of under the religion section. Jews come in all shapes, sizes and ethnicities. If they are referring to Caucasians, they should say so. Arcayne (cast a spell) 15:49, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is a vital article and one of the core set of articles that every encyclopedia should have. In its current state, it isn't passable, but I believe it is important that it be brought up to standard. LaraLoveTalk/Contribs 04:29, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well, above it is stated that Saturn was a COTW until April 29, so technically there is no COTW atm - I guess this process is not that developed yet, so, given all the support for money, we can just declare it the next COTW effective Monday, if there would be no objections. I would also notify relevant WikiProjects and improvement drives, such as WP Finance, WP Business & Economics, Core Topics, Pushing Towards 1.0 etc. to get as much input as possible. Cheers, PrinceGloria 09:18, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
PS. On consideration, perhaps we might want to wait until more people vote, just to make sure there is enough interest in it. Notifying other WikiProjects and all parties potentially interested wouldn't hurt, though.

  • Current GACo, which was improved during the last week, but still needs more effort, perhaps by a wider community of editors. As it is one of the most important and core articles of Wikipedia, I would recommend leaving it for another week and advertising the fact that it is a GACo more widely PrinceGloria 05:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • Current Good Article of an Incumbent (which I feel makes it important) that is up for delist review. Pretty well written but inclusion of apparent OR disqualifies it along with a couple other issues. I think it has great potential to become FA eventually, but it needs to be brought back up to GA first. LaraLoveT/C 04:24, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • On a cursory overview, I think this could easily be improved to GA status. Homestarmy 13:18, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well why shouldn't the "Governator" be nominated! It could be brought up to FA easily with a collaboration. Just needs polishing in my opinion. Psychless Type words or read things! 01:28, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The largest coral reef system in the world. A vital article that's got quite a few references, but in places lacks focus. I'm having some trouble using some references effectively, especially in the Species section. Has been a GA and A-class article for just under a year, and recently failed a FAC. I did some work on this article recently. I think with a little work on the prose and with help finding sources for some {{citation needed}} tags, this could get to GA status. --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 20:02, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Elvis is iconic. A huge part of American culture. I believe this is an important article. It was reviewed as part of the Wikiproject Good articles backlog elimination drive and listed despite failing to meet several criteria. I think this article would greatly benefit from this.
