About the event edit
Want to help bridge the gender gap on Wikipedia? Join us for the ultimate Anti-Valentine’s Day! We need your help to create great Wikipedia articles about notable women from East Dunbartonshire. We’ll be creating Wikipedia pages from scratch, adding reliable citations from the extensive Local Studies collections.
No previous editing experience is needed as full training will be provided.
- How do I prepare?
- Create a Wikipedia account
- Bring a laptop (wi-fi will be provided)
- Learn about editing if you like: Tutorial, or Getting started on Wikipedia for more information
- Think about what you would like to edit about - you can even prepare some materials to bring with you on the day - please see our worklist below.
