Hey Charliejweiss. First, if you are affiliated with the subject, you should carefully review Wikipedia's policies on conflicts of interest and take care to abide by them. Second, there is currently no article for the subject, and all fair use images must be used in a published article. They cannot be uploaded preemptively under a non-free rationale for an article that will be made in the future. The image may be uploaded in this way if it is released under a license that allows unrestricted public use, and to do this the owners of the copyright should follow the directions at WP:CONSENT. Hmm... interested to hear your opinion on this one @AntiCompositeNumber:. I'm leery that a screenshot (obviously copyrighted per c:COM:SS), would be essential enough to qualify under WP:NFCC. I don't have very much experience working on software articles though. GMG ^talk 13:37, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

@GreenMeansGo: There's already a logo in the article (twice), so I'm not particularly convinced that the standard "for identification of the article subject" rationale would work here. The software makes heavy use of the logo, so it's not like the subject is unidentifiable without the screenshot. WP:Software screenshots also asks us to consider whether the screenshot shows any notable use case or a set of features unique to the program. Other reasons are for historic purposes, for when an old version of the program is no longer in widespread use, or if the original publisher of the program has gone out of business, or if the developer has died. The screenshot shows fairly standard features for an antivirus/anti-malware program, it's of the current version, and the last two points do not apply. The logo currently appearing on the page is currently licensed PD-textlogo, and is certainly more free than the screenshot. I'm not convinced that this file passes NFCC 1 (no free equivalent) or 8 (contextual significance). I'll leave the discussion open for a few more days to allow for further discussion. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 13:54, 7 March 2018 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't realize this discussion was here until Stephan2 made the above comment. My concern was that the logo doesn't line up with what the Fortnum's rep above says. I took a look at the website, and the gold logo is widely used, so I reverted with the request that a source be supplied that the "new" logo is, in fact, a new one versus an alternative one.
