- That article is about the actual stretch of railroad, though, not the company. Furthermore, the "Chesapeake and Indiana Railroad Company" logo is found on the website of the Indiana Boxcar Corporation, the owner of the railroad. I'm unsure as to whose logo this actually is - at any rate the article doesn't seem to be about a company. Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: Henning Meyer (social scientist born 1978) because there is currently no picture and search engines pull in a wrong picture. I had this picture taken specifically to go with online profiles and the photographers (DG Corporate in London) provide the packages specifically for this purpose. With the attribution mentioned above this is good to use.

Comment:

The problem is that the language on the permission site is unclear and doesn't constitute any free license that we accept. If you want this picture to be used, you have two options:

1) the copyright holder can publish the picture into the public domain, therefor completely resigning their exclusive copyright to it.

2) Or, the copyright holder can publish it with some free license that technically allows them to retain the copyright, but gives re-users many irrevocable rights. An example of such a license would be the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0

Option two would entail that re-users need to attribute the photo (as you currently require). Both options would allow all kinds of re-use, not just "editorial", as Wikipedia does not allow images that are for non-commercial use only or have some other limitations on their re-use. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 04:34, 4 February 2016 (UTC)

Comment: The website doesn't say this is published under CC-by-sa-3.0, so we have no choice but to presume it is copyrighted. It could be used (without permission) under fair-use though, but this would mean its use here is limited to the article Moravian College and its resolution would have to be low.

However, the old logo, File:Moravian College Logo.jpg was explicitly given permission for publication under the said license. This was done by Moravian Public Relations (Michael Wilson Director of Public Relations and Marketing Moravian College). Would this be possible with the new logo, too? - Comment: The magazine has been published since 1881. We could use a scan of an early volume. A scan from the late 1800s or early 1900s would be automatically out of copyright. A quick Google search found some covers from the 1950s. These are potentially out of copyright (if they were published without a copyright notice and the copyright was not renewed - a practice that concerned copyrighted works at that time). - Comment: That would work. I'm going to reach out and see if I can get a definitive answer on what copyrights I still own. I would guess that they did, considering how the Harpur Trust take their intellectual property. Production Rwung khao is produced from Molasses from sugarcane fermented with yeast. It is refined until it has an alcohol content of 28% 30% 35% and 40%. Bring water from distillation to boil. Purpose of use	The purpose of this usage is to put the in-article sentence of "(Martin Newell) got some graph paper and a pencil, and sketched the entire teapot by eye.[citation needed]" into proper context by providing information as to how detailed and arduous this process must have been. A textual description would I feel be lacking, short of it being a complete transcription of the original notation.
Replaceable?	I am not sure if the original drawing is currently on display at the museum, if it is then I suppose a facsimile of sorts could be made by photographing it through the glass. Otherwise, there are no other reproductions of this piece of paper anywhere on the internet.
Other information	Wherever this image is used, computerhistory.org requests that "Image courtesy of Computer History Museum." be included in the margins, in compliance with their terms.

I'm not convinced that use of the non-free image in the article satisfies WP:NFCC#1, because one could argue that the textual description of him drawing it by hand on graph paper is an acceptable alternative. When I read that sentence, and then view the image, I'm seeing precisely what I expected to see based on the text description, which could mean that use of the image isn't critical for understanding the article. I tend to be a bit conservative about such things when uploading them under my own account, though. So, once your account is autoconfirmed, if you disagree and would like to upload it yourself, I won't be the one to nominate it for deletion. Nevertheless, I've come up with a bit of a compromise: I've included a link to the image in the article using the {{external media}} template. Personally, I have doubts about this meeting the criteria. There is nothing in the article Investigations (Star Trek: Voyager) that is said about Prince Abdullah's cameo role that could not be understood without a picture. Mere "illustration" does not cut it for WP:NFCC#8, and all points being covered adequately by text alone makes it fail WP:NFCC#1 (see WP:NFC). – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 10:53, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Seriously, the license page you linked to specifically lists the license as "Rights-managed". Furthermore, it wants payment of anywhere between $175 and $575 to use the image. This image only consists of text and a simple geometric shape (rectangle), so it can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, because it is simple logo. Btw, before you click on the "Upload file" button, please add the category "Record company logos", "Striped logos", "Rectangular logos", "Rectangular logos (vertically)", and "Tiësto", because I believe this is a striped and vertically rectangular logo and the record label is headed by Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto.
