I am nominating this for featured list because I believe it meets the criteria. It is a fairly comprehensive list of the songs that indie group Guillemots have recorded over the course of their career. The article is heavily based on the FLs List of songs recorded by Rihanna and List of songs recorded by Chrisye, and I welcome any ways that it can be improved. Thanks very much!   • I'd move the incomplete template to above the list itself rather than have it at the top of the article.

  • Quick drive-by comment - I notice the {{Inc-musong}} tag on the list - could you clarify in what way the list is thought to be incomplete? Isn't {{Inc-musong}} usually at the top?
I was advised by another editor to move it to above the actual list, but have now put it at the top of the article again.
"The album was nominated for the 2006 Mercury Music Prize and was well received by critics: review aggregator Metacritic gave it a score of 81 out of 100, suggesting "universal acclaim"." - We're talking about songs, not albums. Perhaps this isn't necessary.
"that featured a different song written by each member of the band" - "that featured one song by each member...", perhaps?

"which had previously been available to download for free from their official website." - Not sure if this is relevant to the topic at hand.

"Red received less critical acclaim that their debut; Metacritic awarded it a score of 60 out of 100, suggesting "mixed or average reviews"." - This too. For a discography, definitely. Not sure if a list of songs should have that.
"Reviews of the record were generally favourable, with Metacritic reporting a score of 69 out of 100." - This too
My reasoning for including the Metacritic scores were that, since the songs comprise the albums, then an album that was well-reviewed would suggest that the songs were well-reviewed too, and that seems relevant to the list. But if you think that the list would be better without, I'll happily remove them.

  • I'm not sure if "multinational" really adds anything here, could probably be stripped out.
  • Changed "multinational music group" to "indie music band". Is that better?
  • When an image caption mentions a band, but only one member is depicted, it might be worth mentioning which one's pictured. I guess you could say Mike Skinner is The Streets but I'd say identify Pete Doherty in the Babyshambles image and Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand. I'm still seeing a good inch or more of white space after the last image so I wouldn't worry about having long captions.
  • That's a good idea, done. Ha, thanks for bringing that video to my attention too.

  • Support. Looks good to me. For what it's worth I'm okay with the Metacritic mentions; they're brief enough to not colour the text the wrong way while still offering a broad view of reception by nature of being aggregates. GRAPPLE X 21:12, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
