I am nominating this for featured list because I believe it covers the topic comprehensively. The content is not going to change since Sourav Ganguly has now retired. Abeer.ag (talk) 06:53, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

*Oppose with a couple of quick comments.
The Rambling Man (talk) 11:43, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply] I've tried to address those concerns and made several updates. Thank you Abeer.ag (talk) 08:18, 13 July 2009 (UTC) More details:[reply]

- Consider making the reference dates the same format as that used in the table, i.e. mdy.
The Rambling Man (talk) 09:51, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Is that really necessary? I used WP Cite & left the ref. dates as they are entitled on Cricinfo, and used a template in the table so that it could sort. Abeer.ag (talk) 14:44, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Why "is yet to" T20I ton in there. He's retired. We can just say that he never did score a T20I ton. Did he even play a T20 Int? We can't assume every retired player will make a comback YellowMonkey (cricket calendar poll!) paid editing=POV 03:44, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Support, all issues resolved. I'm weakly supporting for now because I would like to see reviews by editors who are more familiar with cricket first. Now full support Dabomb87 (talk) 18:56, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Images need alternative text per criterion 5b. Also, image captions that are not complete sentences should not have periods at the end. Dabomb87 (talk) 03:29, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You for your comments. I've done almost everything. I delinked 2 external links, but left the player profile on, since it can be used as a link to the online statistics operator, Stasguru. There's also info. on a few centuries. Moving the keys doesn't look visually appealing. I couldn't find anything in WP:MOS about them. Perhaps I can add a link to them in the contents instead? Thanks again Abeer.ag (talk) 18:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sources look good. Dabomb87 (talk) 17:14, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't know how I missed HowStat, but I have questions about its reliability. "The HowSTAT story began in the early 1990's in Adelaide, South Australia, when a group of friends with a strong interest in both cricket and statistics needed a resource to help them settle some of those arguments and bets that arise when a group like this get together over a meal and a bottle of wine. " Doesn't indicate reliability to me. Dabomb87 (talk) 22:51, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Update All of WP:ALT are in. Hometech (talk) 19:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment The innings number for Test 100s is not uniform. The hundred at Lord's in Indian first innings, second innings of the match. It is listed as "2". If the same pattern is followed, the Hamilton hundred is in the fourth innings, not 2 as it is now. I haven't looked up scorecards but another one I can quickly see is the 2005 hundred against Zims, which should be same as the Lord's hundred but is now "1" Tintin 07:54, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment2 Looked up the scorecard of Lord's Test. The article has the date as June 21, 1996. The Test began on 20th, Ganguly's innings started on 21st and he completed his 100 on 22nd. Now if you look at the hundred at Calcutta against Pakistan, the match and Ganguly's innings began on November 30th and he completed his hundred on Dec 1. The article has the date as December 1. So there is obviously a mismatch in the yardstick use to determine the date. Tintin 08:03, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment3 Please fix the hundreds at Nagpur and Taunton. At the moment, the scorecards and SRs have got swapped. Taunton is listed as home. There may be more problems. Tintin 08:16, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Support -- Previous issues resolved/clarified; list now meets WP:WIAFL. Note: I recommend consulting with the respective project to discuss converting the Records template into a wide box (like the one at the bottom of the article) instead of one that floats to the right.--Truco 503 18:16, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Resolved all issues I could find, Support. --Jpeeling (talk) 21:42, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Unrelated comment If anyone gets the chance, there are a couple cricket-related lists at WP:FLRC that need reviewing/fixing: List of One Day International cricket hat-tricks, List of Ashes series. Thanks, Dabomb87 (talk) 23:08, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Support – Now that the questionable reference has been removed, this appears to meet standards, although I'd still like to see the alt text improved. Honestly, I don't think the Cricket Web reference is needed. Ganguly's number of centuries will be self-evident to anyone reading this list. Giants2008 (17–14) 00:40, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The alt text for the graph reads, "A graph of a cricketer's performance in red and blue colours". That won't be of much help to blind users, whom alt text is meant to help. The graph in Doug Ring with the Australian cricket team in England in 1948 has alt text that states what is in the graph. That would be an improvement over the alt text used now. Giants2008 (17–14) 22:45, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Dates are wrong: Some of the Test centuries took 2 days, the double against Pak certainly did YellowMonkey (cricket calendar poll!) paid editing=POV 01:12, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Closing note: This candidate has been promoted, but there may be a delay in bot processing of the close. Please see WP:FLC/ar, and leave the {{FLC}} template in place on the talk page until the bot goes through.
