The Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album is an honor presented annually at the Latin Grammy Awards, a ceremony that recognizes excellence and promotes a wider awareness of cultural diversity and contributions of Latin recording artists in the United States and internationally. According to the category description guide for the 13th Latin Grammy Awards, the award is for vocal or instrumental merengue house, R&B, reggaeton, rap or and hip hop music albums containing at least 51% playing time of newly recorded material. Exactly. There is no need for sources, and noone took care of the name because it was uncontroversial. Checking each yearly award you will note that it is indeed truth, and the only way to support this would be to add a link to the last year's awards usage of the previous name and the first year where the new one was used. — ΛΧΣ21 01:36, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • "Puerto Rican artists have won this award more than any other nationality" be specific, how many times? I also think it can be worded better. "More than any other nationality" is not professional standards of prose
  • "In 2009 the Puerto Rican duo Calle 13 won the award for Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo and also earned the Album of the Year becoming the first urban act to do so." Lack of commas makes the sentence hard to read. The sentence needs to be restructured as well. As the subject of the sentence is about Calle 13 being the first act to win those two awards that should be at the start of the sentence.
  • "Calle 13 are also the biggest winners in this category with four accolades." Again not professional prose
Still not good enough, changing this to the does not solve the problem. Needs re writing

  • Calle 13 image caption could be worded better as well

  • Tribune Company is linked more than once on the references. As is the Los Angeles Times.
  • Shouldn't the most nominated artist(s) without a win be mentioned?

  • Shouldn't it be noted that although three females have been nominated (two of them twice), males have always won in this category?
  • I'll leave this alone, as it really isn't important.

  • "2nd..." I would expect that to be "Second" or similar.
  • "though award-winning albums have also been performed by musicians " musicians don't "perform" albums, they usually "record" them.
  • "the highest number of " -> "the most".
  • " without a single win" -> "without a win".
  • "Calle 13, are the most successful act in the category, with four wins" no need for first comma, and the sentence needs a full stop.
  • "Barrio Fino En Directo" seems to have "en" in small case.
