Next up on my sporadic project of improving sci-fi and fantasy award lists, we have the Arthur C. Clarke Award, given out for the best sci-fi novel published the prior year in the United Kingdom. Although respected by authors and insiders, this award isn't as noted by the public at large as the Hugos or Nebulas- though that may just be due to the relative sizes of Britain and America. Comments very nice list, good work, just some quick comments: Link science fiction in the infobox Done. Unlink United Kingdom per WP:OVERLINK Done. "SCI-FI-LONDON" shouldn't be in capitals, for MOS:CAPS Done. "clarkeaward.com/" remove the slash at the end Done. Don't use "currently" as per WP:RELTIME Done. Same goes for "recent" Done. In the list, you use "£", can you make a note that that is referring to the UK pound It does, 7 words prior. "the award has been presented on the opening night of the SCI-FI-LONDON film festival", unlink SCI-FI-LONDON, as its first link is further above in the prose, this is for WP:OVERLINK Done. "of which 23 have won" just a suggestion, but maybe "23 of which have won" instead Done. Add table captions to the table as per MOS:DTT Done, though the whole preceding paragraph is a table caption. Add plainrowheaders to the table's coding for WP:ACCESS "Please note that the use of "plainrowheaders" is not necessary, it's a choice of layout." - MOS:DTT. Not to mention that "plainrowheaders" un-bolds the row headers and un-highlights them... which is already done in this table. "clarkeaward.com" to "Arthur C. Clarke Award" just say that, perhaps Done. No worries if there is nothing, or no issue, as this one is bot-generated, but it says "*As done in WP:FOOTNOTE, footnotes usually are located right after a punctuation mark (as recommended by the CMS, but not mandatory), such that there is no space in between. For example, the sun is larger than the moon [2]. is usually written as the sun is larger than the moon.[2]" The bot doesn't like ref columns in tables, FYI; ignored. Comments For BritEng, organisation has an s, not a z. Done. "Sci-Fi-London film festival" notable enough to be linked? Already linked in the first paragraph. "23 of which " should that be 23 of whom? Done. For winning works which simply redirect to the author, I suggest you link them to a (non-existant) article about the work. Done. ;Prose comments from Crisco 1492 Running out of American awards? first published in the United Kingdom - If it were published in the US before then, would it be eligible or not? Yes, they ignore publication history outside of the UK. Prior to 2001, the award was £1000. - Any reason for the change, even one related to A Space Odyssey? None that I could find. As of 2012, the award has been - Has been, or is still? Has been seems to imply it's not anymore.
