Syrian Jews edit

Nominator(s): User:David_Betesh

I nominate Syrian Jews as a featured article.

  • Quick fail: I believe you may not fully understand how the Featured Article process currently works. It is up to the contributing authors of an article to determine when they wish to nominate an article. You have not edited this article since 2008. Also, it is clearly not up to par with the Featured article guidelines, as there are massive sections without footnotes. Much of its content is non-encyclopedic. --Cryptic C62 · Talk 03:41, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. Appears to fall significant short of the FA guidelines in a number of areas. 1) Woefully under-referenced. 2) In-text links for external links, contrary to MoS. 3)Sections of it look an aweful lot like a directory. 4)Lack of citations make me wonder if there's not a fair bit of original research here. There is some good material here, and it is a good starting place for building a quality article - it's just not there yet. AthanasiusQuicumque vult 20:03, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
