Bing Crosby edit
This article is about the American popular singer and icon Bing Crosby. As it turns out, the guy that comes out every year and sings "White Christmas" was a very complex, colorful, detailed and talented artist. The Wikipedia article covers his full life extensively and very very well. It meets all of the Featured article criteria and I believe it should be featured. - Epic Oppose. I don't know how well-written this article is yet, but only with a quick scan through, I'm seeing several poorly-formatted references and uncited statements (A "needs additional citations" tag labeled in the "Role in early tape recording" section should be a good enough sign of the latter problem). Definitely far from ready to be a featured article on that principal alone. Please read the FA criteria before your nominate. To be honest, I probably should've kept my opinion of this nomination short with "Citation 34 is basically a link to another Wikipedia article, 'nuff said". 和DITOREtails 06:02, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose and request withdrawal, largely for the reasons indicated above. This is a level-4 vital article. It doesn't appear to have undergone any prior review stage, and frankly looks like a fairly early draft: badly under-referenced (I've added some refimprove tags), proliferation of short paragraphs, unformatted citations, lack of distinction between encyclopaedic content and trivia – the list goes on. Needs much basic work, followed by a peer review, before any renomination here. Brianboulton (talk) 11:50, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
