Mathbot edit

Final: (5/7/1/1/1/1) - closed as unsuccessful (non-bureaucrat closure) by NotReallySoroka at 22:12, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, what can I say? I was stunned when I looked it up and saw Mathbot was marked as user instead of sysop. This is the man who's got 16,448 edits- 9,670 in article space-, who's been here for a year now, and who has filled our gaps in mathematical knowledge substantially! He's also a regular RfA contributor and knows the value of edit summaries. It's like this guy is a machine or something!! CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 00:44, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Candidate, please indicate acceptance of the nomination here: Opposition is futile. Mathbot 00:42, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose

  1. Weak Oppose Candidate has no personality. Answers to questions boring. Septentrionalis 03:51, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose - all editcounts (9670, 255, 2615, 441, 3397, 33, 39, 1) are non-prime. I can't support composite editors. It's not that I don't like you but I must be firm with my standards. (ESkog)(Talk) 04:57, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Oppose: Uses edit summaries too much. TimBentley (talk) 05:59, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  4. Oppose, at 16451 edits and 356 days old, this user is much too new and clearly not acquainted with Wikipedia policies and procedures. This user may be a sockpuppet as he keeps posting to RfAs and AfDs. I may support at 20000 edits. --Deathphoenix ON WHEELS ʕ 07:14, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  5. Oppose, not enough talk: related pages, other then biting editors about edit summaries 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Communications skills are important for an admin. — xaosflux Talk 13:41, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  6. Oppose who the hell is this guy?
  7. Oppose - trolling on RfAs. Misza13 T C 16:07, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  8. Opppose. My bot says it will shoot directly for bureaucrat. Adminship is for whimps, it says. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:11, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  9. Strong oppose. This user is an obvious vandal - [1], [2], [3], [4], [5]. His answers to the questions below also clearly demonstrate his intentions of using administrator priveleges for evil. -- Meni Rosenfeld (talk) 20:25, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
