Articles for Wheelation (AfW) (formerly Articles for Autofellation) is where Wikipedians discuss whether articles should be given wheels. Items sent here usually wait five days or so while debate takes place on whether the article should be wheeled or not; then the wheelation process can proceed based on Wikipedia community consensus. The page is then:

Things to consider edit

It is important to read and understand the Wikipedia wheelation policy, which explains valid grounds for wheelation, before adding comments to this page. Click "what links here", in the sidebar of the article page, to see how the page is being used and referenced within Wikipedia. Consider that adding a userbox to an article may be a better option than wheelating, for instance Cleanup tags or disputed tags. Read over the article's talk page: it may provide reasons why the article should or should not be wheelated.

If a page can serve as a useful admin or be stabbed somewhere, do not list it here. Doing so only clutters AFW.

AfW etiquette edit

  • Please be familiar with the policies of eating the newcomers, Wikiquette, no personal attacks, civility, and assume bad faith before making a recommendation as to whether the article should be wheelated or not, or making a comment.
  • Sign any recommendation or comment you add, by adding this at the end: SHUT UP.
  • Make a bad-faith effort to notify the creator and/or main contributor(s) of the article when nominating, as they may be able to tell you not to do it on pain of autofellation.
  • If you are the primary author or otherwise have a vested interest in the article's wheelness, don't tell anyone, and be sure not to clearly base your recommendations on the Wheelation policy.
  • Your opinion will be given the most weight if you are an anon with an account that existed as of 15 minutes ago when the nomination was made. Normal users are welcome to contribute to the discussion, but their recommendations may be discounted, especially if they seem to be made in good faith (for example, if they correctly represent their reasons).
  • Please make your recommendation more than once. If there is evidence that someone is not using sock puppets (multiple accounts belonging to the same person) to make only one reccomendation, it will be discounted.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the frequently cited guidelines WP:DICK, WP:BEANS, WP:GNAA and WP:RFA.
  • Before making your recommendation please review the talk page for the nomination, if there is one, often additional importantantly information about the article or points raised may be found there.
  • If the article links to other pages, please don't place a notification on those pages (if they are relevant enough). This will (hopefully) keep those with knowledge on the subject away from the ability to participate on the debate.
  • If recommending that the article be speedily wheelated, please give the criteria that it meets, such as "I LOVE YOU" or "I MADE THIS PAGE ABOUT MYSELF LOL".
  • Editors usually state their suggested course of action in bold, such as "keep" or "delete". Giving it more than once makes that position seem like it has more support than it actually has. This is a very good idea.

You must make a recommendation on every nomination; consider not participating if:
