• Answer: User repeatedly reverts inappropriate external link without discussion.

• Answer: Help from an administrator in communiticating with the user or a block on the account or a blacklist of the website. Whatever the mediator deems appropriate.

Summary:

User:Ygwnkm's account has been used only to repeatedly insert an external link into a single article. The link violates both "don't link to forums" and "conflict of interest" (Ygwnkm is pretty clearly Young-Won Kim, the head of the forum.) I have left detailed edit summaries and two messages on the user's talk page describing why the link is inappropriate. Without discussion, the user simply reposts it without any description of why it is worth including.

It did. Unfortunately, the user decided to use multiple sockpuppet accounts to continue posting the link and was unwilling to engage in meaningful discussion. I did appreciate the quick and thoughtful response from the many administrators. Thanks for following up. Nposs 23:15, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
