The xTools reports for the science and scientific method articles have shown that I have contributed a noticeable percentage of their texts.

WeijiBaikeBianji (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I edit high-page view articles and recently was a co-winner in the 2015 Core Contest for revisions to English language that brought that article to good article status. I especially like to edit articles on psychology and note that many important review articles on that topic are published by Science, the official journal of the AAAS. My professional background is in vertebrate biology (molecular development and developmental myology) and I have occasionally edited in this area based on paper and email subscriptions to resources which I can divorce from my professional activities. I focus primarily on prehistoric and extinct organisms, as well as some mythology, plant, fish and animal articles. Over 12 000 edits in total. I have some access to JSTOR, but my account excludes Science. Although increasingly major research is open access, I occasionally want to read refs in Science that are less than 12 months old and so they need a subscription. Science very frequently critiques Cochrane systematic reviews, which would help balance former (often primary) sources and might help provide requested countervailing views to what some perceive as EBM orthodoxy, per others' comments on EBM Talk page.
