WestJet Encore is a Canadian regional airline based at Calgary International Airport and is a wholly owned subsidiary of WestJet. The airline is scheduled to begin operations on June 24th 2013 [1] using a fleet of Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s.[2] WestJet Encore's initial schedule was announced February 10th 2013 with booking being available on WestJet's website.

The airline is set to start operations on June 24, 2013, using a fleet of up to 45 Bombardier Q400s.[3] The company said it plans to launch WestJet Encore in the Western half of the country first, then expand the service into the remainder of Canada about nine months later.[4][1]

The initial schedule was formally announced on February 11, 2013 but WestJet's website accepted booking on February 10th, 2013.
