Volker Finke (born 24 March 1948) is a German football manager and former player who currently manages Cameroon. He was 16 years the coach of SC Freiburg.

Coaching career

On 6 December 2008, the Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds announced they signed a contract with Finke as head coach until 2010.^[1]

On 18 December 2010 was named as the new Director of Sport by 1. FC Köln, his contract started on 1 February 2011.^[2] Effective on 27 April 2011 he additionally became interim coach till end of season. On 10 March 2012, Cologne have parted company with their director of sport Volker Finke by mutual consent after Saturday's 1–0 win over Hertha Berlin. ^[3]

On 22 May 2013, he was named coach of Cameroon.^[4]
