Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Dinosaur. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. If you feel that the edit I reverted should not have been reverted, please contact me. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 21:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Fountain pen, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Gwernol 21:51, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: your latest message on Omicronpersei8's talk page:

First, you should have put this message on my talk page, not Omicronpersei8's. Second by definition a rock cannot be a fountain pen so your edit was factually incorrect. Third, if you did have evidence then you need to provide it, not just claim you have it. Finally, as Omicronpersei8 said, do you think we're fools? Stop vandalizing Wikipedia or we'll stop you via a block. Thanks, Gwernol 22:05, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta ==

have i been blocked?

No you haven't. Click on the "My contributions" link on the top right of any Wikipedia page. This will take you to a page listing all the edits you have made to Wikipedia. At the top of the list is a link called "Block log". Click that to see whether you have been bloced. As you can see you haven't been blocked (at the time I type this message). Gwernol 22:21, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy by vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. You may also email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list instead. You have now been blocked for 24 hours.  (aeropagitica)   (talk)  22:22, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta edit

What did I Do? Isn't blocking usless scince i can just sign in as a new user?

It depends what you want to achieve here on Wikipedia. If you wish to be a constructive editor who works with others to create better articles, then you'll want to build a reputation, with others respecting your input. To do that you need to maintain a single account where people can judge your contributions over a length of time. If all you are interested in is being a vandal, then you could create a new account. Except: 1) You probably can't right now since your block likely has "account creation" disabled. 2) We have ways of tracing all accounts created with your IP and if we catch you creating sockpuppets to evade a legitimate block then you'll be banned from ever contributing to Wikipedia again. We have technical mechanism to enforce such a ban.
Its your choice really. Are you interested in helping build a better encyclopedia, or are you just a petty vandal? Gwernol 22:33, 22 August 2006 (UTC) I gReply

zharta edit

Sorry, i did not relize i was vandalizing. Please re-consider.

How would adding patent nonsense to articles not be considered vandalism? I am prepared to talk with the blocking admin. However if we do decide to unblock you and you start adding nonsense to articles again I will replace the block and it will be for considerably longer. Understand? Gwernol 23:13, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have now been unblocked. Please don't vandalise in future. Regards,  (aeropagitica)   (talk)  05:01, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

=Zharta= Yes sir, I will no longer vandalize anymore. I am very sorry, i did not truly understand what I was doing until now. sorry.

Not buying it edit

Hello, Zharta, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that recently there have been potentially unwanted edits made using this IP or account on the User talk:Omicronpersei8 page. Therefore, for the time being, your edits will be monitored closely to make sure that they are in accord with our policies and guidelines, and reverted if necessary. I just thought I should let you know. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 17:54, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Jvfdf.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Jvfdf.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 18:03, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I swear That I had not Used that account to escape a block, this account was not working right so i created a new one. I thought I was editing in the sandbox and had gotten no reply until HOURs after I edited it.Zharta 20:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

What is this? First, you are not blocked, so why are you trying to unblock yourself (incorrectly)? Second, your comment "Request reason for adminstrators to ignore" could easily be interpreted as an attack and is at least rude. I went out of my way to get you unblocked because I thought you were serious about contributing to Wikipedia. Was I wrong about that? Gwernol 20:37, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta edit

It says my IP adress has been blocked... What is an IP adress No You were not wrong I don't know what is going on please help me...

A really good way to find out is to try Wikipedia - the online encyclopedia: IP address. Basically every computer connected to the Internet has an IP address - a unique number that identifies that computer. Think of it as like a telephone number for your computer. Every time you make an edit to Wikipedia we record your IP address as well as your username. The IP address you use is usually given to you by your ISP - the company that provides internet service to you. The ISP may give you the same IP address every time you use the Internet (what's called a "static IP") or it may change your IP address from time to time (a "dynamic IP").
When we block someone we often block their IP address too. Unfortunately this means that if you have a dynamic IP its possible that when your IP address changes you get an IP address that is blocked. Right now your username is not blocked, but its possible your IP address is. What is the exact message you get when you try to edit a page? Gwernol 20:47, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta edit

It says "Your Ip Adress has been blocked for creating acount MAKALOG" By Knowing my IP adress have you been acsessing files stored in my computer?Zharta 20:58, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wait a moment, so you created a sockpuppet specifically to evade the block on this user account. I specifically said on this talk page that doing so was not allowed. You used the MAKALOG account to continue to vandalize Wikipedia articles after this account had been blocked? That's completely unacceptable behavior. Is there any reason why you should not be permanently blocked for this, as policy allows me to do? And no, of course we have not been accessing files stored on your computer. Gwernol 21:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta edit

I did it before i had learned about a sockpuppet being bad. I thought I was editing the sandbox wehen I made the other account. I did not create it to evade the Block, i made to easily import files. I had been asking questions about how to edit Wikipedia correctly for the past 4 hours and have gotten no reply. Zharta 21:11, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

"I did not create it to evade the Block, i made to easily import files". I'm sorry, that just isn't true. You were blocked at 18:22 on August 22nd. The Makalog user account was created at 18:28. At 18:30 you made the first edit which read: "Zharta i have returned as Makalog.. Bwa hahahahahahahhahahahahhahaha" You then proceeded to vandalize the same set of articles that you had just been blocked for vandalizing. At no point did the Makalog account attempt to upload any images.
I can't image a clearer case of creating a sockpuppet account for the purpose of evading a block.
And now you lie about it.
I have assumed good faith over and over again in the hope that you were genuinely interested in improving Wikipedia. Unfortunately I just don't see how I can justify to my fellow admins that you are. You just seem to be abusing the trust we show you at every turn. Gwernol 21:18, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

At the risk of assuming bad faith, I believe this person knows exactly what he's doing and is trying to play around with us for kicks. I have a hard time accepting that the same person who

  1. Made and uploaded this stereotypical forum troll image
  2. Also made and uploaded this other stereotypical forum troll image (in MS Paint, a popular medium for "jokers", I'd like to point out)
  3. Created a sock puppet to evade a block
  4. Posts promptly to rationalize his actions after every offense

Is the same person who

  1. "Thoughtlessly" posted very publically about having a sock puppet and what its intent was
  2. Made the statement "I need Help with Sandbox" yet understands the <nowiki> tag
  3. Is dumbfounded about the concept of getting "awards", though having posted his MS Paint idea of one on my talk page
  4. Claims not to know how to start new sections in an article, though having done it several times on talk pages
  5. Makes constant requests for help on my talk page (probably just to pester) though I have made a point not to help him
  6. Said, "have you been acsessing files stored in my computer?"

When someone makes as many deliberate vandalism-oriented mistakes as Zharta does and yet claims innocence over and over, it's time to call shenanigans. -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 21:36, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Zharta edit

yes sir i am sorry, that was yesterday. Stating today I have done nothing wrong. I really do want to contribute. Please give me one last chance otherwise you may block me forever. But nothing will change the fact that I am sorry, I WAS wrong I admit I did it all in barely 2 hours and yes i am sorry. It is true that today i have done nothing wrong and have relized i was wrong. I had thought it was funny and I took no notice to the fact that it was wrong and I am sorry. Sir i am of good faith. Wait, it says my block will expire tommarow, please explain?

Zharta edit

Huh? I have no idea what you are talking about, Please could you leave me alone now I didn't know what I was doing and DEFINETELY did not do it out of bad faith. Just Block my account if you don't like what I did but please don't take me for a bad person.
