Proposed deletion of Scriabin Michael Arkhipovich edit

The article Scriabin Michael Arkhipovich has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.   — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 21:58, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • No, it will not be deleted as a biography of a living person, as I can see that he is dead. But there were a lot of problems with the article. It appears that you have translated it directly from the Russian article, without realising that there are differences in our formats for articles. Please take time to learn more about English Wikipedia before trying to create new articles here.
  • An article about a person has a title which is the person's name in natural order, not with the surname first
  • We do not use the templates for {{birth date}} etc in the text of the article
  • Please try to make sure that the sentence you write make sense in English: I don't know what you mean by " In 1974 he finished III Actors Studio (VTU them. M Shchepkin at the Maly Theatre of Russia)."
  • A link to a corresponding article in another Wikipedia is formatted like this: [[ru:Скрябин,_Михаил_Архипович]] and goes at the very end of the article.
There is a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it is an interesting journey! PamD 11:45, 22 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
