Thanks for the info man, looks nearly perfect! If I may suggest (not to nit-pick), perhaps put "Mike Everitt" instead of "the umpire" (unless you meant 'umpire's' collectively). I know it maybe slightly superficial, but in my original edit, I preferred to add the word non-malicious, to give some creedence to Steve. His interference was non-malicios in nature, whereas other fan interference throughout history was malicious and intentional.

Secondly, just to discuss back and forth. Why wasn't instant-replay used during this critical play? Or was it? I think a few minutes of all the umpires analizing the footage could have made a huge difference. As we both stated, play could have continued, Castillo probably called out, and Bartman and a few other fans could have been quietly removed (again it was non-malicious, but just to follow the MLB rules). It seems in hindsight the umpire or umpires helped contribute to what would become the domino effect? Steve Bartman

Zagalego - first off, I BARELY know how to correspond on Wikipedia so I hope this finds you well. Please also forgive me if I do not write something here or sign it correctly, I am still learning! Usually I feel my edits are near fact or factual, and rarely do I do it. This being said, I feel my edit is important - here's why. According to that 2011 film Catching Hell, it was insinuated and all but scientifically proven that Steve's arms DID slightly cross over (for a brief second or so) the railing. Although his 'interference' is non-malicious, it can clearly be seen to the naked eye if you study all the camera angles. I feel this is important, because the information as it stands now simply leaves the casual reader with the fact that one umpire did not judge it to be fan interference,and that can be misconstrued as hard fact. As we all know, umpires can be wrong, and many believe he was wrong in this scenario. I kinda gave both sides of the argument, and that technically in the best most correct call, Castillo would have been called 'out' per major league rule if it had been deemed interference (again non-malicious in nature, but still), and we may not know how the true outcome of the game would have played out. You are right, he was a free agent after not having signed from being drafted the previous three years and not signed. Maverick sources indicate Norm Sonju, the then GM of the Mavericks signed him before he signed Dick Motta as the head coach. Drollinger was actually instrumental, used by Sonju, to lure Don Carter in as the capitalizing owner. Not sure where this is published, but it is very accurate. Please take note that Baltic states were occupied by USSR in 1940 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occupation_of_the_Baltic_states) and so called "Latvian SSR" was illegitimate entity under international law and not recognized by most Western countries, including USA. Btw, you will not find any Wikipedia articles about Estonians born in so called "Estonian SSR". Where is there any official report that Curry was waived by the Mavs? There is nothing on the Mavericks site or NBA.com. I did read it somewhere but when I used unofficially report's from Mavs ESPN when Douglas-Roberts and Ely were signed, you didn't like it. No. They have not yet officially released him. They have to either pay a buyout, take him to court saying he violated his contract's moral clause, or they have to suspend him and keep his letter of clearance. So far it has not been reported what they will do, just that he won't play with the team again. However, no, his contract has not yet been cancelled as far as I know. Use of "reportedly"

I understand the benefits of being conservative and using "reportedly". For things such as trades and signings that aren't official, it should always IMO be used because the truth will be known soon enough. However, in the case of Jackson being courted by the Lakers, "reportedly" seems overkill based on the widespread sources that reported it. Also, as we may never know the real story, "unnamed sources" might be as good as we ever get here. Interested on your perspective on the wording.—Bagumba (talk) 06:15, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

In this situation, I just don't feel comfortable stating anything as an absolute fact. As far as I know, the Lakers' decision makers never made any public statements that they wanted Jackson from the start. (Of course, if I'm wrong about that, then that would change everything.) They are all unnamed sources so far from the Lakers. I just feel "reportedly" is overkill if multiple reliable sources support it, even if they get it from from unnamed sources. User that keeps changing referenced heights and weights of players

There is a user just with an IP address (that varies a bit from time to time, but it is obviously the same user) that has been changing referenced heights and weights of players for a long time here. They always change the height or weight and give no explanation why, and don't leave a source. They even keep the current sources, which give different heights. They have been doing this for quite a long time, and I have just been reverting the edits back. But after this continues, I think we need to have a discussion with this editor. The latest edits like this were from User:94.64.144.182 [6] (edit history) - but this same IP range, with slightly different exact addresses has been doing these same edits for a long time. You can go back and look at some of the histories of the player pages that the latest IP address edited, and see the previous same edit pattern over a quite awhile. The Spanish League lists players almost always by barefoot height. But most other leagues list it by shoe height. So are we going to change it every single time a player moved into or out of the Spanish League? I notice for example that NBA players like Fernandez don't get their height changed back to the barefoot listing the Spanish League uses.Bluesangrel (talk) 10:42, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

A lot of European players are listed by barefoot height. But the NBA is almost always shoe height. I don't think we should switch the heights back and forth. I think we should pick one or the other. Going by the height listed by the club to change it whenever a player switches teams does not make sense. You use Panko, he was listed at 2.06 by Panathinaikos, just look at his profile at their website. Literally 2 days later he is listed at 2.04 by Malaga's website. It does not make sense to be changing things like that from 2 days to the next. Panko is listed at 6-9 by the NBA [7], so I think that's appropriate. I guess it does not matter, but I don't really agree to change the heights every time a player switches teams, especially since some teams from some leagues use barefoot height, while most others use shoe height.Bluesangrel (talk) 15:16, 31 December 2012 (UTC)

In this (Mario's) case, all the information you can get at the Euroleague.net player's profile, so fix it if you doesn't agree with me somewhere. And just in case of his FT%, he has 112/160 in his career (0.700%), and in this season (2012-13) he has 10/18 (0.556%). Next time, check your results once again, before asking some stupid questions. Euroleague scoring record

Shouldn't we clarify that the current Euroleague only has ownership and the rights to stats since the year 2000? Meaning that all stats from the previous league owner (from 1958 to 1999) are not allowed to be counted in their current records? I mean, since Brown scored 41 points, but it's only the record since 2000. Eric Zorn

I am very impressed with the major cleanup you did with Eric Zorn. You did a fantastic job. You turned a blatant fan page with no reliable sources into a very credible encyclopedia stub, which I understand you plan to expand. You got rid of all the junk and replaced it with worthy content. I had no idea where to even begin with it because it was such a huge mess. Haha. Although I originally questioned his notability after reviewing WP:CREATIVE, the fact that he also wrote the book about Laurie Dann, which was turned into a movie, convinced me that he is. I remember reading a long talk page discussion involving many experienced editors where it was explained that simply writing for a major newspaper doesn't necessarily qualify someone as notable. They also gave many examples of articles of newspaper reporters/columnists, etc. that were deleted due to non-notability. The points I remember most were to the effect of... if every major newspaper writer were notable, then they'd all have Wikipedia articles, but the key is that the person needs to be a "significant contributor" to the paper. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the fine work you did on that article. Because of your efforts, you've convinced me that you are a high quality, hard-working editor; therefore, please do whatever you think is best with the Dennis Rodman marriage and divorce dates. (Duhon) has been reverting Valanciunas' height and weight to the NBA.com listings, while he has been denying this http://blog.raptors.com/press-releases/raptors-announce-training-camp-roster/, even though he admitted that the raptors.com site and nba.com were one and the same. I suspect that he has an alternate account by the name of (Brodey) which he used to change Enes Kanter's height and weight, in the wake of my rebuttal of "Look at Enes Kanters NBA listing and Wikipedia page" to his argument of "all NBA players on Wikipedia have their heights and weights listed according to NBA.com". Both (Duhon) and (Brodey) coincidentally have an intense interest in Hollywood North and a .jpg of LeBron James that may or may not have copyright infringements. I have already appealed to my old acquaintance (DaHuzyBru). I would prefer we get a specific consensus on how to handle this issue. I would favor removing the arrow before a consecutive double entry of the same D-League team. The club history is not going to be able to convey the complexity of his contract status and at the end of the day the Rockets may even re-sign him if he performs well. Can you block someone?

Hi Zag. I asked a different administrator to block User:Klbog1987 because he had previously blocked Klbog for incompetence/disruptive editing/adding false and or unverifiable information into article repeatedly (see here for discussion). Every time Klbog gets left a message on his talk page raising those concerns, he blanks it. Not only does Klbog1987 not respond to anyone (WP:HEAR), he hasn't changed his disruptive behavior (WP:COMPETENCE). He was discussed at an ANI. Could you block him permanently please? After Klbog1987's blanking of Zagalejo's talk page, I looked into their edit history and blocked for 72h. Lack of discussions aside, continuing to add unsourced and disputed content—even to different articles—is a blockable offense. Alright, we'll stay away from terminology that can be construed as value-judgement, although when you've got a documented rap sheet as long as Danilovic's, "surly" is almost a compliment.

Also, Blic is a reliable source. It's one of the high-circulation dailies in Serbia. Yes, it's a middle-market tabloid, but it doesn't invent stories. It oscillates between indepth serious stuff and frivolous celebrity entertainment schlock. It's very similar to Britain's Daily Mail. Museums in Chicago

I created a template a long time ago just for museums that I forgot to deploy. Then someone else created one that is for Museums and cultural institutions. I'm not sure what this combination is suppose to encompass. Should in include theaters (which also have their own template)? I think about 75% of mine are on his. Well, I edit all of the D-League rosters every so often. So when I came to the Red Claws, he wasn't on their official roster. The Red Claws have two rosters: [13] [14].
