Spider taxon author

edit

The "Merrett" who is the author of spider names is "Peter Merrett", not "Nigel Merrett", as per the article Merrett, P. (2004), "A revision of African mynoglenines (Araneae: Linyphiidae: Mynogleninae), Bulletin of the British Arachnological Society 13: 1-30. The paper isn't freely available online so far as I can tell, but I have a copy and it gives his name as "Peter". There's no article on him, as yet – not sure if he's notable enough for one. Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

I have closed your RfA nomination as WP:SNOW. However, I would echo the good advice of MelanieN that you may well pass an RfA eventually if you become an experienced editor. Stick with your Aragon-related articles for now, and contribute to deletion debates as and when you can. When you are knowledgeable enough to be an admin, you'll find two or three editors leave a note on your talk page saying you might be suitable material, and possibly an existing admin to nominate you.
