Welcome!

Hello, Yzzysmith, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Sandbox

edit

Hi Yzzysmith, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed you moved your sandbox into the main article namespace, but it didn't have any content, so I moved it back to your sandbox. If you would like to create a real article, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article. Or consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles. Thanks! —Laoris (talk) 22:20, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Removing project banners.

edit

Hello. Please do not remove project banners from Article talk pages. These are important for project tracking (e.g. seeing how many articles are stubs or Featured Articles), and allow for new editors to find appropriate resources and discussions. In general, previous discussion threads should not be removed either. See Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines for more. Continued unexplained removal of Talk page content will be seen as disruptive. --Animalparty! (talk) 16:28, 10 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
