Image source problem with Image:Congai_NamDinh.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Congai_NamDinh.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:19, 26 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 21:19, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Another copyright concern edit

Please do not cut and paste text from any site other than with content in the public domain as this is a violation of copyright law. Same thing applies to text as it does to photos. Thanks.

And you just did it again. Therefore:

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

The block lifts in 48 hours. Please do not insist on posting copyrighted material upon your return. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 09:36, 25 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

{{unblock|Thank you for the feedback. I understand that my newly created Wikipedia article was deleted because I copied/pasted text into a section of my article. However, the text was copied/pasted as a direct quote and the text is from a public article that explicitly grants permission for any or all of its content to be reproduced (please visit and scroll to the bottom of http://home.znet.com/schester/fallbrook/history/memories/deluz_name.html, which reads 'Permission is freely granted to reproduce any or all of this page as long as credit is given to the Fallbrook Historical Society at this source.'). I did as requested in my Wikipedia article; I not only referenced but twice explicitly cited the original source. I do not believe I should be blocked from editing because I am not disruptive to Wikipedia. Thank you for your time.}}

I have commented out your unblock request. This request expired on February 27th. It is currently April 7th. You have been free to edit for over a month at this point. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 17:40, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

On deleted article Quynh Anh edit

I looked over the deleted article Quynh Anh. It seems that it was mostly copyright infringements. Sometimes, it is appropriate for us to "undelete" an article in your userspace (see WP:SUBPAGE and WP:USERPAGE) for you to work on outside of the main article space at Wikipedia. However, in the case with such copyright infringement, I am not sure that there is anything worth "saving" at this point. My recommendation is that you create a "subpage" in your "userspace" in order to allow you to work on a "draft version" of the article until it is ready for publishing. Generally, you are given more leeway to work on an article outside of Wikipedia's main article space. To create a subpage, just edit your userpage, and create a link like this: [[User:Yohlanduh/DRAFT]] which creates the red link: User:Yohlanduh/DRAFT. Click the redlink to create the file. This new file is now a subpage named "DRAFT" contained in your "userspace", and since it is outside of the article area of Wikipedia, is not subject to all of the same restrictions as articles are, especially with regards to notability, for example. There is some things (like copyright violations, political advocacy, advertising, etc.) which are still not allowed even in your userspace, but if your concern is having the time to craft the article to meet Wikipedia standards, and to do so without fear that your work may be deleted out from underneath you, this is the way to do it. If you need any more help with this, or want me to review your article once you think its ready to "go live", let me know and I will help where I can. --Jayron32.talk.contribs 12:20, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
