Hi! I deleted this article as it failed the WP:GNG. Being indexed by Google News isn't enough, you still need sources writing about the site/company. If you want to work on improving it I have no problems userfying it for you, please let me know if you want me to do this. Bjelleklang - talk 20:51, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

Randall Miller

Hi Yloop.
I've tweaked your edit to Randall Miller. I was considering adding this content myself, but think it (currently) puts undue emphasis on this one, tragic, event. I won't remove it, but if you have any other info to expand the BLP, please add it.

I'm unsure exactly when Miller was charged, the Deadline page was dated 3 July, so I put that as the date, but I think the charges are actually more recent? Can you clear this up for me? Deadline doesn't seem to be that great a source. Something like ABC here: [1] (dated 1 November) is probably better, especially for such potentially damaging information. Thanks for fixing the code. I think Deadline works fine as a primary source given that it is (was) considered a highly watched and authoritative news source for Hollywood insiders -- I would not doubt that Deadline would be among the first to post breaking news on the charges. The ABCNews link you posted is not a reliable indicator of the date of charges, because that is a 20/20 feature, i.e. something that has been in production for weeks/months (though the 20/20 feature was apparently the first to show the footage of the accident). While I agree Miller's entry could use a little more information, I don't think this incident should be downplayed...His career so far has been relatively minor (with perhaps the exception of Bottle Shock)...but this incident could not only potentially end his career, but could have ramifications for how independent film crews conduct themselves in the future. It's hard to imagine Miller's career being associated with much else beyond his alleged role in Sarah Jones's accidental death. Yloop (talk) 04:35, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
