ArbCom 2018 election voter message edit

Hello, Years of Establishments. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Category:Sports clubs by sport by year of establishment edit

Please stop depopulating Category:Sports clubs by sport by year of establishment.

If you think the category should not exist, take it to WP:CFD. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:21, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Last time of asking. Please stop and discuss, or I will seek restraint on your editing. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:28, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
You shouldn't make big changes like that before discussing it first. I have restored your changes. Now explain why these categories should be hidden away like you seem to want to have them, instead of having them all in one category where they can be found at once. Years of Establishments (talk) 19:35, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
That's not the way it works. Categorisation changes are not discussed first.
The categories have not been "hidden", They have been sub-categorised, which is routine practice in en.Wp categorisation.
If you object to that, the consensus-forming mechanism is available to you: propose its merger at WP:CFD.
I have be doing this for 12 years, so I do know the process. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:39, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
What do you want? You made mass changes without any discussion first. I have restored them, then I answered you. It only took some minutes. Do you have to be so restless that you need an answer immediately? I needed to finnish first. You are the one who should have discussed before you did your changes, because they are huge. Now you have blocked me from using Wikipedia. Thank you most kindly. Years of Establishments (talk) 19:42, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
That's how the routine process of sub-categorisation works. It is done without prior discussion. As above: if you object to that, the consensus-forming mechanism is available to you: propose its merger at WP:CFD. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:53, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

ANI discussion regarding you edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding your refusal to discuss your mass-reversion of my edits. The thread is User:Years of Establishments. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:34, 23 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
