No, never use sites that mirror Wikipedia content. Genres in particular are subjective views, which should only be given weight if from scholarly critiques and experts in music journalism/criticism (WP:SUBJECTIVE). None of these credits indicates such expertise. BTW, any tech-savvy Internet user can design their own website or blog and claim to be an expert (WP:Self-published sources). The site you used specifically says in their terms and conditions as a disclaimer on behalf of the site's publisher: "Apple Corps Ltd does not make any representation or warranty in respect of the accuracy and / or reliability of any of the information, content, software or advertisements..." re: Symptom Of The Universe

First of all, you are misrepresenting Iommi's quote from the book. He did not categorically state that he "agree(d) with that claim" that the song is progressive metal. What he said was, and I quote directly from book, "I won't disagree with that". That is not an endorsement or confirmation by any means, and it simply isn't enough to justify the genre addition. Remember to keep your opinion out of your editing. Additionally, Iommi's opinion is non-neutral, and opinionated sources can quite often be questionable. Frankly it amazes me how you can blatantly lie when the truth is here for everyone to see. I added the genre with a reliable source. It was you who then got fussy and decided that you wanted the genres in a different order. In other words, you started the "edit war".

Several other editors on that article have already accepted it. As I said, if you disagree, discuss it, do not continue to remove it. From WP:CONSENSUS: "Consensus is a normal and usually implicit and invisible process across Wikipedia. Any edit that is not disputed or reverted by another editor can be assumed to have consensus." Additionally, the hidden note in the editing text of the genre field: "Please discuss on talk page or use reliable sources if you have an issue with this genre line-up. Please try not to edit this area to adhere to your point of view. Thank you." That the article has accepted these genres (and the hidden note) for as long as it has shows that consensus has been reached to include them. It is true that consensus can change; perhaps this is one of those times. However, this will have to be done through discussion, not your edit warring, per WP:BRD. If you really think it should be removed, start a discussion, and wait until more editors have had their say (generally a week is considered a reasonable amount of time). Please inform me, since I am quite confused, why I am in the wrong. The source cited was a link to the Allmusic review, in which the reviewer states, and i quote, "The Devil's Orchard ... melds progressive metal with prog rock". One song being labelled prog-metal is simply not enough to support the claim for the whole album. Why I am suddenly a war criminal for removing it with reason, practicing something that YOU preach? The genre did not have a reliable source, therefore I removed it. I am not treating this as a personal blog, as I would be more than happy to keep the genre if a reliable source was provided but, after not finding anything on the internet that supported the claim, I removed it. You are in the wrong because you are making an edit against the accepted consensus on the article without any discussion first (which in and of itself could be considered being bold, although the hidden note asking for discussion is quite visible when you edit that area of the article), and then when your edit is reverted, you continue to make the edit instead of discussing it on the article's talk page. When editing, please try to pay closer attention to any hidden notes in the immediate vicinity of where you are editing; that may have stopped this before it even began. Be aware that any edits to the genre field of an infobox may be questioned or undone by editors on Wikipedia (as shown by your talk page above); it is often a better plan to just start the discussion before making an edit, or upon the first revert.
