Barcodes

If you're doing what I think you're doing I strongly advise against it, wikipedia is not the right place for a comprehensive database of barcodes, for more information about what wikipedia is not, see WP:NOT. I'm however not ruling out the existence of a barcode wiki somewhere, you just need to find it :)

Thanks for spotting my mistake, usually I make the mistake of letting a spellchecker proofread my texts :) Anyway, WP:NOT remains, compare it with the undertaking of creating an article for every phone number there is. Sure, it *is* information, but you wouldn't want it to bog up an encyclopedia. I've pasted a link to this talk page on the IRC channel, an admin or two should chime by to give you their opinions any moment now.

HI! amazing how MY PHOTO of magazines in a news-stand can be violating any copyright. If this logic was to be given credence any photo that shows an advertising billboard or a person wearing an image-t-shirt would be illegal. Clearly this is paranoid. Spam

Y23, I think that the inclusion of the www.y23.com url in your image file names is spam; it looks like most of your edits are about promoting your site. Furthermore, there's a lot of question about the copyright and license status of the images you've been uploading. The y23 site says who the owner is, but you don't appear to have identified this wiki account as that person. You should probably do at least that much, and put the name of the originator/copyright owner in the file info. Dicklyon (talk) 17:20, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
