Missile boat

Thanks for the recent edits to Missile boats. Your work is appreciated. Often if you are not a massive content creator it seems you are invisible here. Small actions such as yours keep the whole thing on the rails IMO. Cheers mate! Simon Irondome (talk) 19:27, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SNCAN, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Breguet. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Duke of Wellington's Regiment

Hi - Please see my comments on Talk:Duke of Wellington's Regiment#Split? I believe there is a strong case for splitting it as the regiment arose from the amalgamation of two (separate) regiments in 1881. I know you suggested this some years ago. Thoughts welcome. Dormskirk (talk) 11:31, 1 January 2017 (UTC)

Sally ho?

Yeah, I can't believe it's two years. Some ways it feels like yesterday, some ways it feels like forever... And your clip from U-47's effort is what I'd expect, a sideways rocking; it still leaves me dubious of "running" through the hull lengthwise, while dived. (It's not, rpt not, like running in a hallway, by any stretch of imagination). Thx for the website link, too. And I hope you're having better days than me... I've run into too many jerks, enough I've seriously considered walking away from WP & not coming back. Your message is enough to make me think twice. There's still some good ones here. You're not wrong. It's just really frustrating: go to the trouble of creating a page, & have it deleted without a word of discussion. Or try to discuss an edit which has a half-dozen or dozen points involved, only to draw complaints for being "abrupt" in summarizing on the talk page, & then have it said discussing further is "a waste of time"... Why do I bother? Except I'm convinced this is a place for knowledge, & I really do wish it wasn't so much about...IDK. I'm not immune to wanting to preserve edits, so I can't claim purity, either, but sometimes it looks like willful blindness, it really does. And it's times like that I really wish I could quote Buddy Hackett (from his routine where he suggests the Vatican sell off some of their art): Absconde obeseri illegitimo. (I'll let you figure it out... :) ) Thx for letting me vent. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 06:07, 5 December 2017 (UTC)
I appreciate the offer. Thx. You wouldn't happen to live in Cleveland...? :p TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 22:08, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
No, not laundry, & maybe it's less close than I hoped. :( I was (am) looking for exterior & interior pix of the jail, & the state pen (for a story I'm working on). And no, "Beauty & the Bull" is a real bio short by Warner. I put it up after seeing it on TCM, & finding no page for it, having trouble believing Bette Ford was actually a bullfighter. Check out her filmog & see if you're not as surprised as I was. TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 00:10, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

Have one on me
Good hearing back. And happy holidays (whichever one you celebrate, if any ;p ).
Thx for the suggestion on the Cleveland Project; I'd never have thought of it. That said, it was more of an idle idea than a serious request anyhow, not something I'd want somebody to put themselves out doing. Flickr, I hadn't thought of, either, so thx for suggesting that, too. It isn't something I couldn't work around, if it comes to it, since it's in an entirely fictional history anyhow...if anybody who knows should complain. ;p TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 02:46, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Vital Spark, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Crinan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
