Speedy deletion nomination of Actor Factors

edit

Hello Xxhanxxx,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Actor Factors for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Anastasia [Missionedit] (talk) 18:56, 25 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Vijay Dahiphale. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. Speedy deletion nomination of Mirza azhar

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mirza azhar requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Proposed deletion of Kabbir Khan (actor)

edit

The article Kabbir Khan (actor) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

BLP, fails GNG and BIO. Single source in article is about a filming location, only lists subject's name. BEFORE found promo, interviews, nothing with IS RS SIGCOV addressing the subject directly and indepth.  // Timothy :: talk  21:35, 11 April 2023 (UTC) There is an Indian film director named Kabir Khan (director) and an athlete Kabir Khan (cricketer) that should not be confused with the subject.  // Timothy :: talk  21:35, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  // Timothy :: talk  21:35, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your request

edit

Per your request for help in your recent edit summary [1], here are some resources to answer your questions.

  • If you are connected to the subject in any way (or are the subject of the article) this must be disclosed clearly on your user page. Wikipedia welcomes input from article subjects and associates, but there are special rules regarding how these contributions are reviewed.
  • Please read WP:COI, WP:NPOV, and WP:OR, WP:WEIGHT. (neutrality)
  • Then read WP:N, and for biographies read WP:BIO, WP:BLP. For other types of article see WP:SNG; here is a list of SNGs Category:Wikipedia notability guidelines (notability).
  • Finally read: WP:V, WP:IS, WP:RS, and WP:SIGCOV (sourcing).

Any questions you have can be answered at the WP:TEAHOUSE.

If you are going to edit Wikipedia, especially creating biographies, you need at a minimum to undestand the above. It will take time to learn them, but the time will be well spent.
