An invitation to join WikiProject Golden Horseshoe Road edit

Hi Xero-7,

File:Goldhorse.PNG
Golden Horseshoe.

I have noticed you have done a great job making articles like Pierre Elliot Trudeau High School, and Berczy Village, Ontario. We are desperately needed articles for Markham, Ontario. I urge you to join our WikiProject, which will soon to "break out" its frames, and that it will not only help Wikipedia to create more articles about roads , but everything in the Greater Toronto area. Our scope is to improve the article coverage of almost everything notable in the Golden Horseshoe area (that is east from Peterborough through Oshawa, Toronto, Mississauga, all the way along Queen Elizabeth Way, through Hamilton, then wind east again to Niagara Region.)

See the map to the right for what I meant. The green is the outer golden horseshoe, the red is the inner core.

Read over our base page WP:GHR, for more.

Thanks again!

Please let me know your decision by replying here.

AfD nomination of Frozen noodles edit

I have nominated Frozen noodles, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Frozen noodles. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. File copyright problem with File:Icon reboot.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Icon reboot.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Skier Dude (talk) 04:38, 29 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your upload of File:Berczy village markham bridge.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
