PSU Template edit

I had just finished making one seconds after you did. At first I thought someone hadn't put it on the colleges, then I saw you just did one now. The box should be navy rather than blue though, for future reference. --Wizardman 03:07, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Category:Penn State University alumni edit

Hi Xanderer. Good job creating the Penn State alumni category. Instead of putting all of the individual football players into the cat, though, you should simply add Category:Penn State Nittany Lions football players to the category. Take a look at Category:Harvard alumni, for an example. ×Meegs 16:19, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Meegs: Thanks for your help. (I knew there was a better way.) I was unable to post to your talk page due to some spam filter issue. I'll try to figure it out. —Xanderer 18:35, 14 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

HFStival List edit

Thank you for working on this contributing page for HFStival. I did an immediate edit, moving Margret Heater to the M's, not H. Because its a band, not a person. If the chart on the HFStival page does not help with your dates, I am sure I can help you out additionally. Talk to me | vi 01:12, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I also noticed just now your link to Fidel was incorrect. I corrected that as well, as I just started an article on them last night. --vi 06:06, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for updating the HFStival page this morning. In keeping the page theme, once a band has performed, we are not linking them again. So that's an FYI. I also reformatted your citation, so as to be able to quickly go back and write out the full citation so it can show at the bottom of the page, as this article becomes fully flushed out to wikipedia expectations.--vi 18:21, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gotcha. Thanks for the tip-in. Incidentally, do you know how to make the columns span the whole with of the table? (After a lot of frustration, I decided to go ahead and post the information first and experiment with the table later.) —Xanderer 18:41, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Looks like you figured it out with the colspan, as I was going to suggest. I didn't go to the festival this year. I am currently weeding through pictures taken yesterday for some to upload to wikimedia commons for usage. I think the article would read better with images peppered throughout. Also, while you're add it, could you reorder the side stage and local stage for 2006? I believe that's the flow. I also added a quick statement about the buzz tent being cancelled for this year. I don't like my wording, so feel free to change that. --vi 21:42, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yellowcard edit

Hi, there! I saw that you've contributed to the Yellowcard page. I've been working hard all weekend to get it into an encyclopedia-worthy article, and I think we're almost there!

There's a short list of things that still need some work at the bottom of the talk page. If you could take a look at it, maybe add more things to do, or clean up whatever you see needs work, I would sure appreciate it.

Thanks for your help. Have an awesome day! Cathryn 10:10, 28 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Greg Buttle edit

Hi Xanderer,

I was a bit surprised by your edit summary for Greg Buttle. Was this a typo? Thanks, GChriss 00:06, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just being silly. I worship Greg Buttle—I think he's an oft-overlooked star. Someone once misunderstood me when I was saying his name and it has made me chuckle ever since. Sorry if I offended. I meant no harm. —Xanderer 02:30, 18 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Snallygaster edit

This page may help you expand the Snallygaster article. Also, it seems the Snallygaster should be in the Legendary creatures category and not the Cryptids category. Also, the Encyclopedia Mythica page the first link mentions is here. -- J. [ tlk | con | #'s ] @ 07:00, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Art Houston edit

A question out of nothing but curiosity: What was the deal with Art Houston? I became curious when you deleleted the reference from Pottstown, Pennsylvania and noticed his article had been deleted and protected. Just curious—I've never heard of him. —Xanderer 01:04, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I found it under "recent changes" one day, and someone had just prodded it and then User:Timebuilder deleted the 'prod' notice, so I submitted it to AFD (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Art Houston. After review, it was deleted, and then today, it was recreated, so I tagged it for speedy, and an admin deleted it, and then it was recreated, and then I retagged it for speedy again, and that admin protected it. I figured since now it was really dead, I went and checked the "What links here" and then did a bit of link cleanup. Sertrel 01:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Was it poorly written, or bogus, or what? (And why do I care?) —Xanderer 23:53, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Just... completely non-notable, just a guy. And what bugged me was how when people said he was non-notable, he claimed that he really was 'somebody' and then started injecting himself into other articles, or writing up his better-known friends to try and have some of their legitimacy rub off on him. So I did some AfD's. As for 'why' you care, I don't know, curiosity? Sertrel 00:18, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mike Reid edit

I noticed on the Mike Reid disambigution talk page, that you didn't known where Mike Reid, the football player and songwriter, should have an article. I decided on the football portion because I have a feeling people will know him more as a football player than a songwriter. My opinion is biased because I follow football much more than country music. If you, or others, feel the opposite is true, then I have no qualms about it being moved to the appropriate place. Patken4 01:19, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Hardly a consensus edit

Three cheers for your comments concerning the lack of a consensus on several deletions today. (Wikipedia:Categories for deletion/Log/2006 October 1) I don't know how strongly you feel about this issue, but I appreciate you weighing in. I am very concerned about this trend toward Over-Deletionism and plan to stay on it. Any input is greatly appreciated. -Xanderer 17:56, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Just an FYI, though, in my opinion, Kbdank71 typically does an awesome job of discernment. (Look further up his talk page for some other comments of mine.) Sometimes a CfD can be confusing, though, and as far as I can tell, he welcomes the comments. - jc37 18:02, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Racquel-uso.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Racquel-uso.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 19:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pat Tillman infobox colors edit

Thanks for making the color for the Arizona Cardinals players infobox but in my opinion the color should be used for only present players, (It could get out of hand, like for Reggie White is it the Eagles or Packers color.) Your signature edit

You may want to remove Image:PennState-logo.png from your signature because it is licensed as fair use. Wikipedia's fair use policy states that fair use images should only be used in the article namespace. Because you have also signed your name on talk pages, Wikipedia project pages, and so forth, you have repeatedly broken this policy. Feel free, however, to add images and media files licensed under other terms. For more information, see Wikipedia's fair use policy and an accompanying essay on the removal of fair use images. Thank you for your cooperation. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 15:17, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Looking at this edit, it seems that you have been warned about your signature before. Therefore, if you continue to break Wikipedia's fair use policy, your account may be blocked from editing. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 15:19, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Portrait-leepson,m-9-01.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 02:02, 4 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Jack-ham-poster.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Jack-ham-poster.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast 10:31, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use disputed for Image:01227-3278mcnally.jpg edit

  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:01227-3278mcnally.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 09:05, 1 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned Fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Brubeck-on-time.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. My "trail of destruction" edit

What exactly are you referring to? Also, whether I've done wrong things or not (though I am anxious to hear your answer) I see no reason to talk to Jmfangio about it, considering my interactions with him have been due to his ignorance and what I would consider mental instability.►Chris Nelson 01:00, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's no secret. I've given you my opinion in previous discussions: I agree with you just as often as I disagree with you, but I find your inability to accept the opinions of others and your belligerence toward the process of consensus-building frustrating. It's not constructive and I thought Jmfangio (talk · contribs) would be well served in his dispute with you over the the new template to see your activities at the old one. It's nothing personal—I just want to see it worked out so I can use it. —x a n d e r e r 01:25, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well I mainly asked because I couldn't recall my specific interactions with you. Perhaps I am sometimes intolerant of the opinions of others', but in the case of Jmfangio and the new template, it's not about opinions because he has none. He has what he thinks are opinions, but in reality he's just totally wrong and unable to comprehend reality. I also don't think you should treat him like the victim, because I think he's more deceitful and manipulative than you know. All he's done is make unnecessary and incorrect changes, patronize, attempt to tell others about Wikipedia policy he clearly lacks understanding on, then pretends to offer compromises so he looks like the bigger person to passersby. I really think the dude might be insane.►Chris Nelson 01:48, 29 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Undrafted free agents in NFL infobox edit

Hi, I'm writing you because you have previously posted on Template talk:Infobox NFLactive and I would like your opinion on an addition I made that is being contested. I have added a field to the infobox called "undraftyear", and when a year is entered it adds a line under a guy's college that says "Undrafted in 1997" or whatever year is appropriate. I did this because I felt there should be something noting a guy went undrafted, similar to the info for drafted players that was already in place. To see how this would look in an article, see here or here. If you would be in favor of this edit, I'd ask you to kindly voice this at Template talk:Infobox NFLactive#Undrafted free agents. It is being contested by one person because they feel the year should not be there. I feel the year is important, just as the year of drafting is important. I also feel that since we have an NFL debut section in the infobox as well as a listed of teams and years played for each, it wouldn't cause any confusion. So if you're okay with this edit or you'd like to get in the discussion, I'd encourage you to do so. Thanks!►Chris Nelson 22:24, 21 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

No highlights edit

I wanted to have an opportunity to get a clarification on your thoughts. The highlights section is hotly debated and long ago i was hoping that a focus on the section of a whole would take place, as there are some really important things that need to be addressed; criteria for inclusion in the section is something worth talking about

I just double checked and you inserted the box on the Jurevicius article and i removed the highlights field. I saw in your recent post that you had a "highlight" that you felt was worthy of inclussion - why didn't you include it? I'm not saying it is or is not something that should be included, I'm just curious why you didn't put it in.

I'm still hesitant to move forward on to many open discussions there because of the outstanding RFC that is going on. Juan Miguel Fangio| ►Chat  08:33, 22 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Misery edit

Yes, I had my thoughts about Morelli's page. But this is wikipedia, not pennlive.com. I am very glad to say that I had to work on Saturday and did not have to watch that game. I fear for the rest of the season. Dincher 00:43, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

No vandals on Morelli, yet. I am glad that I didn't get to see the game. Dincher 20:51, 29 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
I saw some highlights and I can't blame Morelli for the fumble. The Larry Johnson article looks great! Never heard of this Larry Johnson. =) Dincher 04:08, 30 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

I just knew we had talked about Morelli in the past and not to my surprise it was under the section "Misery". Anyway I just looked on the Cardinals website and Anthony isn't on the roster. Cardinals. I am planning on going to the Iowa game this year, it should be a blast! Dincher (talk) 21:26, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Iowa will be a guaranteed blast—it’s looking like I’ll be there too. Don't forget to wear your white. I think Morelli’s situation was sort of unorthodox. I am fairly certain he was with the Cardinals in some capacity this past spring. (A release came across the wire back in April.) This is just a guess, but I'd imagine he was just a “hired arm” to chuck balls at mini-camp. Regardless, it must be over because I read here that he will be coaching quarterbacks at Plum High School. Ahem, good luck to them with that.—xanderer (talk) 20:37, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Intersting bit of news out of Plum. I keep checking GoPSU sports for updated player bios. I want to do an article on Jared Odrick, possibly Jack Crawford, there was a very good article about him in the Altoona Mirror. Probably some others as well. Dincher (talk) 21:42, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Good choices. Crawford is gonna be a star, so I've been stockpiling articles about him on my user page. Feel free to mine them for info. I just got my 2009 Media Guide in the mail. I just flipped through it quickly, but it’s gonna be a goldmine of information. Do you want me to scan Crawford and Odrick's bios? —xanderer (talk) 22:07, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Dick Anderson edit

I created Dick Anderson tonight. Please take a look and fix what you think needs to be fixed. Thanks. Dincher 00:34, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bravo Dincher! I'm going to dig out my PSU Football Media Guide and see if there's anything significant I can add. BTW: I was at that woeful game in 1988 when Rutgers beat us…and when Syracuse did…and Pitt. Oh, the pain! —xanderer 02:25, 18 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anderson has been nominated for DYK [[1]].I was a really little kid when I saw Penn State lose to Cincinnati 3-14 the year after the Sugar Bowl victory over Georgia. Dad says that I cried. Dincher 21:12, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mike McQueary edit

I started Mike McQueary tonight. I can still hear my Dad shouting, Put McQueary In!!!!! as Wally was being Wally. Have at it if you wish, if not I'll work more on it in several days. Dincher 01:35, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was going to tell you I started Chafie Fields today, after I discovered he is now a sports agent and represented Levi Brown. But, alas, I see you have already noticed. Nice work, as always, on McQ. —xanderer 04:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)!Reply
Yeah, old Chafie sure had a memorable catch against Miami a few years back. I almost jumped through the floor of my third floor apt. in fabulous Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania. My feelings about updating McQ will be greatly affected by tomorrow's game. Wish I was there. Dincher 04:36, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Jim_ricca.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Jim_ricca.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 20:05, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Butler edit

Nice pic of Deon Butler. Did you get anymore pics of the other players? Dincher (talk) 02:39, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! Did you make it to the game? They offered unprecedented access to the players this year. I've also posted my photo of Jay Alford this afternoon. I have photos of quite a few others who don't have articles yet, but will no doubt will once the season starts: Stephfon Green, Andrew Szczerba, Dan Lawlor, Chima Okoli, Tyrell Sales, Cedric Jeffries, Bani Gbadyu, Rich Ohrnberger, Dennis Landolt and a couple others. —xanderer (talk) 05:45, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sounds good! Now we have a list to work from to make articles. I didn't make it to the game. Gas is way to expensive to be driving from NC. Sometimes I think I might never make it to PA again! Dincher (talk) 19:32, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Butler in the Skull and Bones? The article says that it's only at Yale. Is this a different skull and bones for Butler? Dincher (talk) 02:35, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hmmmm. I was checking the PSU alumni database to see if he had earned the second degree he was working on when I noticed "Skull & Bones Alumni Interest Group" listed in his profile. It's perhaps too dubious for inclusion—plus I can't link a citation to it anyway, since it is password protected. —xanderer (talk) 02:48, 6 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Clark edit

I started Daryll Clark today. Any help or input will be greatly appreciated. Do you have a pic? If not I could look on flickr later. I am going to work on it some more and shoot for a DYK and get on the main page. He could be there, on DYK, Saturday for the first game. Dincher (talk) 21:43, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nice work! No pix of Clark....yet. But I've been reading some great newspaper articles on Wally Richardson and his brother William, who will start as Costal Carolina's QB on Saturday. I've bookmarked them and plan to plunder them for info shortly. —xanderer (talk) 02:20, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I went ahead and nominated it. Nice work. Dincher (talk) 21:44, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I really appreciate that! I've been chugging away on a slew of current Penn State players lately. I've been paying close attention to my Google Alerts, and there have been so many great storylines on this year's team: Rubin, Josh Gaines, Gerald Cadogan, Ollie Ogbu. I've been incorporating them into the existing articles whenever possible, and creating new articles for those who don't have them. I've also been keeping an eye out for info on former Nittany Lions Steve Smith and Tom Rafferty, both of whom are struggling with rare diseases. Request to move article Junkyard Band incomplete edit

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Junkyard Band to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added a place for discussion at the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved. This can easily be accomplished by adding {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the page, which will automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 07:20, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Greenberry Woods edit

The article The Greenberry Woods has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Poorly referenced article that does not meet WP:MUSIC

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Alexandr Dmitri (Александр Дмитрий) (talk) 18:35, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of entertainers who performed for American troops in Vietnam edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is List of entertainers who performed for American troops in Vietnam. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of entertainers who performed for American troops in Vietnam. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:11, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Big 33 Football Classic edit

The article Big 33 Football Classic has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only the list has sources, the text does not.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. » Shadowowl | talk 10:43, 13 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of DJ Reid Speed edit

The article DJ Reid Speed has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I couldn't establish that she meets WP:MUSICBIO or WP:GNG. This has been in CAT:NN for 14 years; hopefully we can now resolve it.
