Notability of Captionbubble.com edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Captionbubble.com, by Weregerbil (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Captionbubble.com is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Captionbubble.com, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Captionbubble.com itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:37, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

funny because i took the exact text off a page that has been approve that does the exact same thing as me all i did was change the url and start date - so your a hypocrite and you have no clue what your talking.

i spent hours last night adding content - to find it all deleted in the morning.

just seems like this site is a popularity contest like the other ones — Preceding unsigned comment added by Writeitin (talkcontribs)

I suggest you read up on Wikipedia:Notability (web) and WP:VAN. If you vandalize after your block, you may find yourself indef blocked. Momusufan 20:25, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

In summary, if you had simply left a note on my talk page, we could have had a discussion about this and you wouldn't have been blocked. David Fuchs 20:30, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am unfamiliar with your tos and most of the functionality of this site. the bottom line is i own a 7 yo restaurant directory listed #1 on google for " restaurant directory" and when i added the link to the restaurant guide section it was deleted - I also added a social network with over 10000 members it was deleted - i added a caption image site that has captioned 500,000 images in the last year and that to wasn't added.

now what am I to think? I'm good enough to rank extremely high and be indexed in every search engine but not here?

I spent time writing and contributing and all my work was deleted - I'm being treaded like an over seas link farm — Preceding unsigned comment added by Writeitin (talkcontribs)

Wikipedia is NOT an advertising service, nor is it for non notable articles. Your article was non notable and was rightfully deleted, end of discussion. Momusufan 21:38, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
