Hi.

I am so glad someone removed the offensive material. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ingridmcki (talkcontribs) 19:30, 1 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Explanation, please edit

So, any explanation about the Tolpuddle revision? Blarken 15:16, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was reverted by somebody else while I was trying to remove the vandalism myself. Woodsstock 17:40, 2 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you are going to take our link off please take off the other Deep Creek Lake Real Estate external link as well.

link removed from Europe edit

I was just curious about your recent removal of an External link from the Europe article (diff). Your edit summary was "Remove copywrighted information link". WP:C explicitly mentions that linking to a copyrighted source is not a violation. Was there something specific about this link that caused you to remove it? Sterling Commerce page edit

Hi, Woodsstock. I *think* you nominated this page for speedy deletion. It's pretty much the same page it's been for months with a few minor changes, from myself and others. What's the objection? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SupplychainSME (talkcontribs) 17:10, 9 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Bruce Wayne - Playboy edit

Why did you remove my restore? Bruce is often (as often as he's listed as a philanthropist) called a playboy. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 14:48, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was unable to find any reliable sources of that fact. Woodsstock 12:44, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ole Christian Kvarme edit

I have tried to outline some principles on the Talk page that we hopefully can agree about with respect to this article. Let me know what you think.

Sounds good to me. Woodsstock 18:09, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Red sheep edit

Geez, a little quick on the delete button there. I was still editing the article when you put it up for speedy deletion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ng.j (talkcontribs) 16:50, 19 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

I was under the impression that Ovis ammon gmelini was an Armenian Sheep. Woodsstock 16:59, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

I guess it is known by many names? Not a sheep expert, just starting a stub so someone can expand on it.
--Ng.j 17:03, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can I revert the link to Red sheep back onto the sheep page? I was hoping someone informed on the subject would add to it.

Mufflon, translation from German edit

Hello Woodsstock - you put up a request for translation on the wrong page. The correct page to ask for a translation would be here: Wikipedia:Translation. The process is explained in detail there. WP:PNT, where you posted, is only for foreign-language-texts mistakenly placed on the English Wikipedia, or for asking for a quick translation if someone posts something in a foreign language on some talkpage. Cheers --DorisH 15:24, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

My bad. Thanks for the info on how to get it done. Woodsstock 15:25, 20 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

User talk:Wtt edit

Hi Woodsstock, I removed the V1 warning you left on this page because that user actually removed vandalism to Ancient Egypt left by 167.135.7.130. Cheers. Robotman1974 16:01, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

No worries here. :) --Wtt 16:41, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think I got a crossed wire somewhere ;-) Sorry about that Wtt. Woodsstock 16:44, 21 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I was only sandboxing!TNTfan101 13:05, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Then use the sandbox, not an actual article. Woodsstock 13:07, 30 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear Woodsstock,

I appreciate your concerns to maintain Wikipedia free of abuse, but may I ask the reason why my recent contribution (www.allsantiago.com) has been removed from the page? Please advise me of the reasons in order to avoid this in the future.

Many thanks

Ifalcon

It is a commercial site Woodsstock 15:06, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not accurate, Woodsstock. It's a non-profit, independent City Guide. I consider it to be a useful, unique source of information on the city. Surely that is important to highlight.

Richard Hetherington edit

I was having a read through your article of Richard Hetherington and have traced some Ancestery back to him. Do you have any more information and can I ask where you sourced your information?

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
