Because "http://www.ethnologue.org/show_language.asp?code=" is not, in no way, absolutely not, an official reference for ISO or IETF language codes. It must never be showed as it were. See Template talk:Infobox language#Request among other source. On the contrary, "http://www.sil.org/iso639-3/documentation.asp?id=" is the official reference for ISO 639-3 language codes.
