Hi! I checked the photo and found that it was uploaded by th:User:สุขเกษม อุยโต for his collection of Thai Photographers pages. There is also a duplicated photo which was tagged PD-old ..here. Unfortunately, he did not write wiki for month so I can ask him about the license issue for you. Actor infoboxes

HI well I feel it is the same for an info box on actors and cinema people as it is for film. At WP films there always seems a rush to add an info box to stub articles -I thought I was being very helpful. Silver is the colour gradually being introduced to all cinema bios - it looks better and classier. If you don't like the find an image then remove it but always think of an info box as an article upgrade. As for the flag that can be replaced with simply Thailand but it is for presenation purposes -I hoped I was making the stub articles also look more like we are controlling them -standardizing at WP Actors and Filmmakers . I haven't been spending much time on wikipedia either -I tend to smed a while on one day then leave it for a few days. I know I'm not really one for debating long term so I haven't brought the subject up yet - I really do think I ought to have some right to edit the Template :Actors as I founded the Actors/Filmakers project!! - the best would be to standardize it as silver but I guess it may be open to personal preference. I don't really like the find a image temporary image either -it is a tad unsightly but it was my way saying hey we really want a pretty image for this actor quick - and it also shows that we expect and plan an image eventually. It doesn't really matter though -the important thing is to try to make the stub articles more professional looking ready for expansion. THanks =my UK google image doesn't find so many Thai sites - the image was the best I could do!! I beleive that film won four awards also - it could do with an awards section and reception perhaps?. Hey I've got the List of British films properly underway now with the help of another British collaborator it needs much work but it is a start-its good to browse through them anyway !! Shaolin soccer

Thanks for the kind comments. I would like to add a section describing the major differences between the Chinese and American release, as well as the controversy over Miramax chopping the movie up. I think the description of the plot could use some rewriting too. Sections on the film gross, DVD sales, and sound tracks (Chinese/US) would be nice as well, but I feel I've done all I can for the article right now. Portal:Thailand

The image was a combination of the Thai map, the flag, and the emblem (the Thai royal garuda). You can see all these three images in the Thailand article. However, I think recreating that image will just get it deleted again. I tried to explain to the deleters but they insisted that the portal use of this image (particularly the garuda emblem) wasn't considered a fair use. Sadly, it seems like the same group of people have also deleted similar images from other portals too (although Portal:Japan and Portal:Malaysia still have their coat of arms). You're more than welcome to recreate a image for the Thai portal, but perhaps replacing the garuda with something else. Good luck! --Melanochromis 02:48, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
