March 2023 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 09:49, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your user page is not for writing an article. You need to do that at the draft you started, Draft:Camilla tranter. The draft will not be accepted until it summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen to say about Camilla Tranter and her significance or influence, showing how she meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable person. I advise you to slow down and learn more about Wikipedia before proceeding. What is your relationship with Camilla Tranter? 331dot (talk) 10:29, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not for promotion... of anything at all. edit

@Wintersisters, you seem intent on using Wikipedia as a vehicle for telling the world about your modelling career. Please have a look at this policy page to see that Wikipedia doesn't allow promotion. Wikipedia is an encyclopedic summation of the world's notable topics. I assume you are on Facebook, Twitter, Insta, TikTok, etc. to pomote your career. Beyond the limitations of social media, you will probably need to spend money on professional promotion, such as adverts, publicists and the like. Wikipedia is not a free means of promotion, even for things which are good causes, if they lack notability.

While it's true than anyone can edit Wikipedia, any other Wikipedia user, including those in positions of authority, can undo your edit if it is contrary to the purposes of Wikipedia. Accounts will also be blocked if disruption passes a certain threshold.-- Quisqualis (talk) 22:31, 18 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

She’s already in Wikipedia I was trying to add to it 🙏 Wintersisters (talk) 00:26, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
