Japanese companies names edit

Hello,

Please don't change the names of Japanese companies whose legal Japanese name is in rōmaji or katakana: [1][2][3][4][5].

You can easily verify a company's legal name by going to the legal section of the official website or http://www1.touki.or.jp/gateway.html

About Daihatsu, ダイハツ工業株式会社 based in Osaka and 大発工業株式会社 based in Okinawa are two completely different companies.

Feature phone edit

Hi, and a belated Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Feature phone, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. PC Optimizer Pro moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, PC Optimizer Pro, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 14:15, 24 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

March 2024 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: .  Bbb23 (talk) 01:18, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

WindowsWorld (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I understand that several edits and drafts I have made have been unconstructive and likely much too experimental for an open encyclopedia like Wikipedia, and being honest I really need to use the Sandbox more often. In future I will try to be more constructive and encyclopedic and less experimental with my edits and try to use the Sandbox more often.WindowsWorld (talk) 12:15, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate and confirm that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:

    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...),
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: ),
      • and do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits have any citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking using unblock and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will hopefully improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 16:29, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You won't be unblocked to just edit your sandbox. What contributions do you intend to make? 331dot (talk) 12:23, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

That's a fair point; I hold lots of fascinations of which I might make related contributions: technology, linguistics, science, culinary arts - I'm not requesting an unblock purely to use the Sandbox - I'm stating that I feel like I need to use it more often when I'm unblocked. Edit to Lemonade stand edit

A lemonade stand is a small business, commonly owned and operated by one or more children, to sell lemonade or other beverages, such as iced tea.[1] Lemonade stands are typically held in the summer season.

The stand used may be a folding table, while the archetypical version is custom-made out of plywood or cardboard boxes.[2][3] A paper sign in front may be used to advertise the lemonade stand.

Educational benefits edit

Lemonade stands are often viewed as a way for children to experience business at a young age. The ideas of profit, economic freedom, and teamwork are often attributed to traits lemonade stands can instill.[2] However, unlike a real business, they often benefit from free labor and rent, and may have a lack of expenses.[2]

Culture edit

The concept of lemonade stands has become iconic of youthful summertime American culture[4] to the degree that many parodies and variations on the concept exist across books, movies, and other media.

Legality edit

In some areas, lemonade stands are usually in technical violation of several laws, including operation without a business license and/or permit, lack of adherence to health codes, and sometimes child labor laws.[5] Lemonade stands have been known to spread disease due to poor sanitation, including a 1941 case in Chicago where 12 people were infected with poliovirus virus, five of whom were paralyzed, from a child's lemonade stand.[6]

Enforcement of these laws for lemonade stand operations are extremely rare, but have been known to occur, typically to public outcry.[4] In June 2015, police in Overton, Texas told children running a lemonade stand that they would need to apply for a permit and check with the health department before selling perishable food.[7]

In 2018, Country Time created Legal-Ade, which pays up to $300 of the legal fees for lemonade stands fined in 2017 or 2018, or for 2018 permits.[8]

The New York Legislature took up a bill in 2019 that, if passed, will explicitly make lemonade stands operated by minors legal and exempt from most regulations.[9] As of that summer, fourteen U.S. states explicitly allow operation of a lemonade stand without a permit.[10] WindowsWorld (talk) 17:19, 2 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
