Australian Route Shields edit

On the topic of my State Route Shields and Alphanumeric Markers, the reason I up loaded them is that they were a more exact replica of the real Australian route markers. I am aware there are SVG versions, but my problem with them is that they are off colour and oddly shaped. I am changing all Queensland pages with the SVG shields to my version, to keep consistency. If there is demand for a particular marker, then leave a message here. MagpieShooter 00:16, 9 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Australian Passenger Rail Map edit

Thanks for the map - it looks great. There is one mistake in there, however - the Shepparton Services are missing from V/Line. Last time I looked they were still running. If it is a "passenger rail" map, you can probably also put CityRail's Nowra services on the map, as it's large enough to have its own line shown on there as well - no other rail line extends that far where a longer country service doesn't run. You could do QR's Gold Coast Line too if you were keen. JRG 14:05, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Amended. Cheers. MagpieShooter 06:34, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Another change for you, the WA section of the map doesn't include the AvonLink service which runs from East Perth Terminal to Merridin, via Midland, Toodyay, Northam, Cunderdin, Tammin, Kellerberrin, Doodlakine, and Hines Hill. Thanks, Thewinchester (talk) 02:50, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Since it followed the same route as the Prospector, I didn't mark it. I also didn't mark many of the shorter routes on the CountryLink lines. MagpieShooter 04:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Duplicate images uploaded edit

Thanks for uploading Image:NSWA31.png. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:NSW-A31.png. The copy called Image:NSW-A31.png has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 09:03, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image tagging for Image:QLD-A5.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:QLD-A5.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Queensland locator map edit

Hi, do you know if commons:Image:QLD-locate-base.png or {{Location map Queensland}} are in use anywhere? I've created another locator map for Queensland, {{Location map QLD}}, which I have used on Townsville-Burdekin School District. John Vandenberg 04:41, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Due to the fact that my map wasn't based on grid orientation, the template didn't work so I abandoned the template. Therefore, no the template is not used anywhere, nor it the picture, however similar pictures exist. MagpieShooter 07:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:Beaudesert Shire logo.png edit

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Beaudesert Shire logo.png. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 15:36, 12 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NS-Tunnel-SEntry.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:NS-Tunnel-SEntry.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:50, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Stockland-logo.png) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Stockland-logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 17:45, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:GCCC logo.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:GCCC logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. PxMa 19:07, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just a reminder that WikiProject Brisbane needs your help. There have been a number of changes to the project page over recent days and I hope you could spare some time to take a look, be bold and add some touches yourself.
