Mr. Nimur, I am not yet an expert on how to use Wikipedia. I was about to start the year-round school article (it had not yet been created) when someone simply beat me to it.

Many of your comments in the article are without foundation and I intend to correct them. Please be patient until I am through editing the article.

Also, I must tell you that I strongly suspect that you are using Wikipedia as a way to cast YRE in an unrealistically favorable light due to the controversy there in Wake County, North Carolina. Are you from Wake County NC?

Regarding original research accusations; Sir, you have made a blatently false claim. None of the pages that I cited were my works. If you took the time to read them you would have found that they were done by education professionals in areas of university level research, and the department of education in the State of North Carolina. The third page was by a lawyer in Maryland.

The picures of Wake County schools will be removed and the links you deleted will be returned. - Wes Walker

I am not currently a resident of Wake County, North Carolina, but I am certainly aware of the present political and educational debate ongoing in the WCPSS. Please see my user page or my contributions; note that I have written extensively about the Wake County funding situation. My stance is neutral; I neither support nor rebut the school board decisions: I merely report about them. Note that the Year-round school article is viewed by readers from all over the world; it should not be bogged down by local issues. If you have a complaint about the photograph, there are channels in Wikipedia to request an alternative; however, the photographs benefit the article and should not be removed simply because "you do not want year-round schools in Wake county." Consider the Wikipedia School Project as a potential forum for your request for alternative imagery. Thanks for your cooperation, Nimur 13:18, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I do not live in Wake County. You do. Yes, it looks like you are attending Standford in pursuit of a doctorate. Congratulations. It appears that Wake County is still your home, according to your user page, even though you are a domicile elsewhere attending college. You may consider your stance to be neutral, but your edits and insistence on having pictures from Wake County, North Carolina with comments on how year-round schools look the same as traditional schools is a well known tactic used by year-round school advocates. This practice is not neutral. It is a marketing ploy.

I have removed the pictures and will gladly take whatever steps are necesary to log a complaint.

If the year-round school article should not be bogged down by local issues, why do you insist upon putting pictures up in a place where it is a very hot and current local issue?

What channels can I use to complain about the pictures?
