Please do not keep re-adding the link: to maintain our neutrality, we don't allow external links on disambiguation pages, so it is just going to keep being removed. Speedy deletion nomination of St. Mary's School (Connecticut) edit

A tag has been placed on St. Mary's School (Connecticut), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I see that you are updating your page. To avoid deletion while you are doing so, place the {{hangon}} template on the page, and explain your reasoning on the talk page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 18:26, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

St. Mary's School (Connecticut) edit

I have re-directed the page about St. Mary's School (Connecticut) to Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hartford#Elementary and Middle Schools as an alternative to deletion.

The other alternatives were to propose its deletion or open a deletion discussion. If I did the former, it would be gone in a week unless someone "contested" it. If it were contested, I would open a deletion discussion. After a week of discussion it would almost certainly be deleted (see WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES) unless it became clear that this school meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines as outlined in WP:Notability, WP:General notability guidelines, and WP:Notability (organizations and companies). WP:NSCHOOL summarizes Wikipedia's notability guidelines as they pertain to schools. It is clear that unless this school has received significant media coverage or there is other convincing evidence that it meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines which is not reflected in the text as it existed before I changed it, the school does not qualify for a stand-alone article on Wikipedia. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:10, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
