Yearbook Library

Black Tiger (arcade game)

Hi, I noticed some changes you made regarding the Black Tiger (arcade game) article, and the high score section you posted. Do you happen to know the details of this? From my understanding of Black Tiger, it would be impossible for anyone to score 2+ million points, but it may be that there are different versions of the game where the scoring is different. --Xyzzyplugh (talk) 10:15, 3 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi, on my talk page, you said, "Thank you for your inquiry about the Black Tiger World Record. The world record was done in front of our staff so we know it was a legitimate achievement. The rules are at our website, listed with the high scores. It may be that you are accustomed to playing under different difficulty settings".

I have a question about this. Is this in regards to the standard arcade version of the game? I wouldn't have thought that there would be different difficulty levels, as arcade games don't generally have them. --Xyzzyplugh (talk) 13:11, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Copyright takedowns .. whoa?

Hey if you need any help with various stuff here drop me a line on my talk page, also you (or your legal representative) should probably review some of the various Creative Commons licensing options available on here - it is possible to "release" an image to Wikipedia in a manner that makes it legal for wiki (and anyone else) to redistribute it along with derivative works while still requiring that credit for the image be given to you or your company, which is what I'd assume you want.

There's entirely too many wiki editors that are really fascist about this sort of thing, and I think the reason why is that they don't have respect for the bill of rights (or even the wrong-headed DMCA, for that matter). I say that bearing in mind that Wiki strives to be something that can be published without government interference in countries that do not guarantee our same rights. Autobiography

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion.
