First, Wikipedia is not the first point of publication. All information must be published elsewhere before it can be included on Wikipedia. Also contain must be verifiable through a reliable source, preferably a third party source that engages in fact-checking. Forum posts, mailing lists, Usenet, and blog are not considered reliable sources. Especially when the forum post you gave was clearly a reaction to the date being challenged on Wikipedia, (12:55 UTC on Wikipedia versus 17:53 UTC of the post you cited. Also given the similarly between the names of the person who made the forum post and your username, one can assume that you and the poster are the same person. And if true, this creates a conflict of interest with regards to the source, making it unacceptable. --Farix (Talk) 21:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
