WikiProject Anime and manga/Dragon Ball Argument edit

This guy by the name of A Link to the Past is trying to change the Artificial Human articles to Android. I'm strongly against this, and he isn't going to quit. So can you give me a helping hand. Please and thank you. Ryu-chan

Haha weird... maybe our ideological enemies arranged a hit? Is the email address I have for you valid then? Or is it just trouble logging in here? Onikage725 20:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps. That address is a different one then the one that I registered under for MajinVegeta. You can still talk to me on that one. --VorangorTheDemon 20:23, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I saw, and thanks. You're being strict, not rude. There's a big difference, however sometimes caution needs to be exercised when talking to these people. You're doing very good though, so don't let me stop you! :) --VorangorTheDemon 20:52, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
I hear that. I've used up most of my energy for that too. I really don't know how we go from renaming the Freeza Saga to whether or not Goku has a last name. Onikage725 15:34, 9 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Brick. Wall. Time and again I say "Freeza is English." Time and again I'm called JP-biased for saying so. I'm running out of ways to say it. Actually, I think I am fresh out. And yeah, I agree about the FA influence. His initial comment was in bold with some caps for emphasis, in effect "yelling" at you, and going on to make declarations about "the Japanophiles." He has toned down the personal attacks, but has continued to present himself as a solid block. I really don't think he is actually reading our comments, as his replies fail to actually address any contrary point of view and simply restates the same arguments. At one point he yelled at us for not being able to counter his arguments, even though I believe they'd previously been addressed. And half of his responses are in this sarcastic and condescending "I'm right, suck it" attitude. There's no way he contributed to an articles FA status like this. Eiether he's taken a particular disdain to us, or he posted during some FA reviews and thinks his points somehow hit home. Onikage725 20:42, 11 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your "messed-up" account edit

Hey there. I saw your post on SUIT's talk page and I have three cool ideas for you:

  1. After copy-pasting everything from your Majinvegeta account here, try redirecting User:Majinvegeta to your current userpage and redirect User talk:Majinvegeta to your current talk page
  2. Or you can place {{User Alternate Acc|Majinvegeta}} on your current talk page and {{User Alternate Acc|VorangorTheDemon}} on your Majinvegeta talk page
  3. You may instead request a name change to Majinvegeta at WP:USURP since the account is formerly yours. It's what I did when I changed I'm anonymous to Sesshomaru, though I am unsure of your case seems it differs mine
Peace. Lord Sesshomaru
Thank you so much, I simply redirected. --VorangorTheDemon 23:49, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gohan's age edit

Hey MJ. I was looking at the age thing about Gohan and you right about something but during the beginning of Buu saga in the manga it stated that Gohan was 16 years old and if the dates I gave on his discussion page before it got archived sre right he was still 16 when Buu was defeated as his birthday did not past yet with means Gohan was 10 during the Cell Games but not do to the RoSat training, his birthday did pass between the that time and the Cell Games. Yes we know the birthday party was only in the anime but since that is the only thing we have for Gohan of or around the day he was actually born we have to use it, but not to mention the birthday party in the article just time period when his birthday was. That is the only reason Gohan was 16 was because his birthday did not pass yet during the Buu saga. Remember we can not just go off the year, we need the month and date of events to get the actual age of people unless there is not month and date like Goku who only has the years of his birth. But other than that Gohan's earlier ages are correct. Heat P 18:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey I think there is a BIG problem. I just noticed that while looking at Goten's page. As we know at the end of the Cell Games Gohan is 10 according to the manga and Daizenshuu and 16 at the beginning of the Buu saga but I just noticed something that does not make ANY sense. Think about between the Cell Games and the Beginning of the Buu saga is actually about 6 years and 11 month (in turn 7 years). However this is where it does not make sense. In the manga Goten is said to be 7 years old. How is that when 1st off Goten was born at less 8 months after the Cell Games? So wouldn't that actually make Goten 6 years old? Even after Buu's defeat since that takes place almost exactly 7 years apart from the Cell games and still about 8 months before Goten was birthday according to the 7th Daizebshuu. Hope you get me but how can we fix that since even the manga and the Daizenshuu mess up this little but big mistake? That would mean Gohan was still 9 at less even when he defeat Cell. Fair use rationale for Image:Crop2.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Crop2.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 03:13, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Have we met? edit

Forgive me if I'm wrong, do you contribute to the Dragon Ball wikia regularly? If so, and please disregard this message if I am incorrect, a User:Burdock (that's me on the DB Wikia!) lefted a message for you[1]. Blank this message if you feel I was approaching the wrong user. ~I'm anonymous

Yea,It's me, MajinSuperVegeta. --Majinvegeta 18:36, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I thought your edits looked too familiar. I was wondering why you never responded back to me at the DB wikia. What's up? ~I'm anonymous
For what, the Admin thing? --Majinvegeta 18:44, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh sorry, what's up? It's nice to see you again! :) I apologize if I seem sometimes careless in responding to people. I only visit the DB wikia about once a week, I've been frequenting it more often the past few days. I just was editing the stuff Gohan and Goku articles there earlier today. --Majinvegeta 18:47, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
So I've noticed. I've been editing it a lot up until the wait for the adminstration thingy. The long wait is pretty much the reason why I've been contributing recently to the English Wikipedia, not much more action is going on there. Its alright if you're a bit dazed in responding to others since you seem to be a very active user (there is no end to stressful editing, is there?). The Dragon Ball wikia articles didn't even have references and external links until I added them. There's still SO MUCH work to be done there. I plan to give my all there as soon as the admin/sysops are elected. That way, vandals won't have their way at messing it up (not that they normally do there). I hope we can build a DB wikia so well that it'll surpass the DB articles on Wikipedia several times over ;)

Nice to finally have talked you ma'am, ~I'm anonymous

"(there is no end to stressful editing, is there?)"-- You don't know how right you are. ;) It just sucks now because on the DB wiki, EVERYBODY is just waltzing in and almost editing so badly that they nearly destroy the ariticle. I'm just happy that I can add the pics that I want on the articles there. (here, it is far more difficult, I've been trying to change the pic on the Goku article here for almost 4 months now. I think the one they have there now SUCKS. Have you seen it? Wow, but the one before this one was even worse. Such bad taste, it's infuriating. I'll help you add external links if you need help. Don't be afraid to ask me to help out, I'd be more then happy to. --Majinvegeta 19:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wow, you are right, Son Goku's image is bad. Long ago, I've seen a better one. What happened to it? IMHO, it should be replaced with the attire that he wore in the end of DBZ/DBGT. Do you have a pic like that? Upload it and I'll provide the fair use rationale and other things. I don't think there will be a fight over images. ~I'm anonymous
Thanks! I have a ton of Goku pics, I'll upload some. I have a huge obsession with pics, I probably have over 1000 on my comp (DBZ), and that doesn't include my Hannibal Lecter ones (I'm a big fan of him too). I've always had problems with fair use rationale and stuff. I will upload a few! But you might run into issues with people claiming that it isn't a good pic because he isn't in his orange Gi. --Majinvegeta 02:13, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I replaced the Goku image with the one you uploaded and lefted a fitting explanation for why it is better than the other image. There shouldn't be any qualms or discrepancies over which image is more suitable or not. ~I'm anonymous
Thankyou so much! This one looks a lot better to me! --Majinvegeta 01:20, 29 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Goku Image? edit

What happened? I don't look at it for a week and now we have a image of young goku? The Orange gi adult goku is more common, who changed the image? (im asking you because you seem to be one of the people who edit this article the most) DBZROCKS 22:26, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well I think the image we had before is better because it shows goku in his regular and more common adult form. DBZROCKS 00:11, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I lefted a comment on DBZROCKS' page about the Goku image we uploaded together. Let me know what's up, k? ~I'm anonymous

Hannibal edit

I think the biography section itself (dealing with his roles in the books) could be extended. We don't need a pass-by-pass recap, but we should mention his dealings with Will Graham and how he sicced Dolarhyde on Graham and how he helped with Buffalo Bill in more detail than the current revision. If you look at the articles for Padme Amidala, Jabba the Hutt and Palpatine, all of biographies are fairly indepth and all have been featured articles. I think a paragraph or two for each of the first two novels, stating what he did and the circumstances of the event would be fine.

Besides that, I think everything looks good, particularly with the character descriptions and inspirations that Harris may have used.--CyberGhostface 21:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Good Job on the Vegeta article edit

thanks. DBZROCKS wants to put it up for a good article review. I feel I done all I can for it. Also I know its old and frustrating news but can you check on Gohan's age for me. I want to nip that little tidbit in the bud as soon as possible and we still have an issue with Goten's age I explained above. Heat P 03:33, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Coola, Koola or Cooler? edit

Hi Kayla. I had posted this message earlier at User:SUIT's page and he couldn't help me. What I wanted to know was: what is the name Steve "Daimao" Simmons uses for Freeza's brother on Japanese-audio English-subtitled anime? ~I'm anonymous

I think it was Cooler, but I'm not entirely sure. I've always called him Coola, just like I don't call Freeza "Freezer". --Majinvegeta 22:51, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

A better Goku image edit

I found this image [2] while I was surfing through google images for "Son Goku". What do you think Kayla? Should it be the main image for the Goku article? Also, should we notify the other WP:DBZ members for their opinion? ~I'm anonymous

It won't let me view it, it's just an icon that says "this image is hosted by Tripod." Maybe you could upload it here and then I can see it. --Majinvegeta 02:21, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Strange, its viewable on my screen. Let me give you the website: [3], Its in Spanish, but the image is there. ~I'm anonymous
My internet is having problems, now I'm back online. So anyhoo, I just noticed that you created my userpage and added two cute userboxes. One of them regarding the DB series is cool and nice, but the other one I can't have. I'm not a member of WP:DBZ, sorry. I might join though, question is: how do I get membership authorization? ~I'm anonymous
You just put your name on the list. Simple as that--$UIT 05:11, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yea, Suit's right, you just go here, scroll down to "Participants" and add your name to the list. And you edit the articles enough to be considered a member, so there ya go! :) --Majinvegeta 07:00, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
But in reality, I haven't edited any Dragon Ball articles in a long while. I've been busy categorizing fictional characters to their proper place. Isn't the administrator supposed to authorize me first or something? ~I'm anonymous
No, it's an open thing. You add your name to the list and if the Admin decides that you don't contribute to the DB articles enough, then he puts you in as an inactive user. You seem to do it enough (my opinion). Normally you have to either not contribute for a LOOONG time or not contribute at all in order to be taken off the list of active users.--Majinvegeta 01:29, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Anyone can move users to the inactive list, not just Deskana--$UIT 02:06, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I'll sign my name there. Oh, Kayla! Were you able to see the cool Goku image on the website link? ~I'm anonymous
Thanks for being a good friend to me Kayla. I like you ;) ~I'm anonymous
I lefted a message at SUIT's page regarding what could be done to clean up the Dragon Ball wikia. Tell me what you think. Peace. ~I'm anonymous
Hi. You never responded back regarding a couple things: the Goku image (or ideas for a Goku image), a possible DB wiki cleanup as a team and something else I have to ask: have you seen the articles I made: Belzi and Paifu? Belzi's article is fine but Paifu's needs to be cut down. I was wondering if you could be of some assistance. ~I'm anonymous
Oh yes! Sorry, got side-tracked. I like that Goku pic, better then the one that we have there now. I'll be happy to help on the Paifu article, and I'm glad that someone actually started an article on those two characters. I unfortuntely don't really know a lot about them though, but I'll do my best. I think that a DB Wiki cleanup team is a great idea, god knows that it is needed! :) --Majinvegeta 20:48, 8 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Let me know when you're gonna start doing those things with me. See, initially I wanted to take care of the Goku image thing quickly; but, which do you want to help me with first? ~I'm anonymous
don't wanna butt in but shouldn't we be using a older Goku image instead of the young GT one? DBZROCKS 12:16, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I agree DBZROCKS, but anything will be better then the pic that we have there now. The pic we have there now isn't even licensed for use on Wikipedia last time I checked. --Majinvegeta 16:06, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Upload the pic and I'll provide its fair use rationale, among other things. K Kay? ~I'm anonymous
Hey, its me Burdock. Take a look at the cool Goku image I uploaded. Bye. ~I'm anonymous

... Its gone. User:3bulletproof16 reverted me. I won't fight over images, but maybe your thoughts could make a difference in this case. ~I'm anonymous Hopefully, it's alright now. How's the new pic, eh? ~I'm anonymous

Hi Kayla. What do you think of the Goku image I uploaded. Cool, is it? ~I'm anonymous
... no comment then? I really wanted you to like it so the other "bad quality" one wouldn't return. Remember, a second person's opinion can make a difference. ~I'm anonymous

Hannibal edit

Like I said earlier, the only thing I'd comment on is that the books section should be expanded...the bulk of the plots of Red Dragon and Silence are ignored, save for Lecter being captured and escaping. We don't need a CliffNotes of the novels, but we should mention how Lecter worked with both Graham and Clarice and how he was connected with Francis Dolarhyde. Again, a paragraph or two for each book would do.--CyberGhostface 19:39, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Are you ignoring me? edit

I asked you a couple questions earlier and you never responded to any of them. First, why is Dragon Ball not considered a meta-series if the article in question says it is, along with Sailor Moon and others? ~I'm anonymous

I REALLY apologize if you think that I'm being a bitch and ignoring you, I'm seriously not trying to. And I can understand if you're getting pissed. I've been super busy fixing up about five different articles, I honestly haven't had time to talk to anyone. The reason why I don't think that Dragon Ball should be considered a metaseries is because of this sentence on the metaseries article: "A metaseries[1] includes series of stories which include references to each other and some overall similar chronological or cast backdrop, but are not similar enough to be considered direct sequels." The major problem with this definition when relating to Dragon Ball is the last part: "but are not similar enough to be considered direct sequels". All three Dragon Ball series are directly linked to eachother, making that part of the definition false. Anyway: I love the new Goku pic you added, it's much better then the old one. The Yamcha thing, I left a response on that page, thank you for notifying me about that. --MajinVegeta 06:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Majinvegeta. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Ebony & Ivory.gif) was found at the following location: User talk:Majinvegeta/Archive 1. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Oh, can you merge Mr. Satan and Oob now then to the Earthling list? I can do the rest from there. It seemed more was in favour of them going away than Bulma and Roshi. Well? Lord Sesshomaru
I see. If you do not want to, its fine. I don't care all that much really. Perhaps TTN will do it. Lord Sesshomaru

Gotenks edit

When did FUNimation say Gotenks went Super Saiyan 2? I've never heard anything like that before, so can you elaborate? Ryu Ematsu

I thought he said that before he went Super Saiyan 3. Ryu Ematsu
I didn't see the part that the article was based on the manga. I remember what you were talking about. You mis-understood him. When Gotenks said "Time to take it to the next level", he was actually talking about going Super Saiyan, revealing that he could do it when he was fused. That's why, if you remember, when he transformed, he yelled "Super Saiyan!" when he did so. Ryu Ematsu

Son Goku (Dragon Ball) edit

Why did you take out the reference to the Harmony Gold dub and the statement regarding his name being Goku in most English versions? See link. Lord Sesshomaru

Well, tell you the truth Sesshomaru, I don't think it's really nessicary to state that his name is simply "Goku" in most English versions. And also it seemed to be leaning toward cruft to me (Leaning toward, not exactly cruft though), however, you can re-add it if you'd like. --VorangorTheDemon 18:23, 16 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Goku's abilities edit

I thought actually of removing the "ugly" ability list and turning it into a paragraph, with the section entitled ==Powers and abilities==. This is how many comic book characters on Wikipedia have their techniques set. However, thought you'd like to try it yourself before I do, turning it into a paragraph I mean. Lord Sesshomaru

I love the new image. About the abilities, I shall take care of that later. I've seriously given thought about reporting User:A Link to the Past again to WP:AN/I for his persistence on moving the article to Goku in the spite of several times when he was told to stop bringing it up. If he continues, that is, I will do it. Do you support that? Lord Sesshomaru

And I have the utmost respect for you for lasting this long. It is all I can do not to say something like that, and he's been worse to you. All the same, don't let him push you to that point. It'll just give him fuel, and a defense if/when he winds up reported for his attitude. Remember on the other debate when I called him on this and he said we'd been insulting way more than he had been insulting us? I told him to quote me insulting him, and he kinda went away. That's the kind of response we want :p Onikage725 05:29, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I know what you mean. I'm just warning you that sometimes even the implication can be taken that way. I've seen it happen. And generally if a mod gets involved they don't take sides and tell both parties to work it out, shut it, or be blocked. I'm just advising you not to walk the line too much, so that at the end of the day you know if it came to it only one person could even be considered in violation. "Thusly" edit

Seems to me like "thusly" really is a word. I'm not sure if it should have been used in the context it was in before you changed it, though (I didn't take the time to read all the definitions and see if it would fit). // DecaimientoPoético 19:01, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you edit

Thank you very much for notifying me; I was busy with my thesis work and hadn't noticed.
I'm no longer interested in directly engaging him, but I still don't want my comments stricken as though they some sort of offense. (nor do I want to leave legal claims of 'libel' entirely uncontested, or confirm them through total inaction) Bladestorm 00:24, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hannibal Lecter article edit

Hi, I haven't been logged in for a long time, but is the rule that only the Hannibal novels should be used for character information still in effect? I am just wondering because I don't believe that Lecter is called the Chesapeake Ripper in the books. If he is though, then sorry for reverting your edits! Dr. Hannibal Lecter 23:09, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are right, Murder Spree is a bit uncreative. Now that I try to think of something else, though, I realize that all of my other ideas are too tacky! If you can think of anything based on the novels that works, it would be much appreciated! Oh, btw, we have the same book quote on our user pages. Just found that funny. It is a good quote, though LOL. You probably couldn't find it on my user page just by looking, though, since I just have a few userboxes too many...Dr. Hannibal Lecter 22:40, 26 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kame's meaning edit

Kame doesn't mean divint turtle. It just simply means turtle. That's why Muten Roshi is called Kame Sennin, meaning Turtle Immortal; and why Kamehameha translated to Turtle Destruction Wave or Blast. I corrected this. Ryu Ematsu

It's not Kame Kaze, it's Kami Kaze. It means God Wind or Divine Wind. I guess if it said so in Vol. 3, then it's okay. Ryu Ematsu

We haven't talked for awhile edit

Hey, I don't see you on Dragon Ball Wiki anymore. Last I was there, everything looked so much better than ever before. The Goku and Gohan articles you love are still a mess, I've been editing recently there though. So, what's going on? Lord Sesshomaru

Yea, I haven't been there in a while. It just seems like fanboys are messing up all the work that we do. They don't even have the slightest idea of how to edit an article. They add like 50 thousand pointless pictures to one section. I think I'll check it out now, see what's been happening there. Other then that, I haven't been up to much, I've mostly been spending my time at YouTube (DrHannibalLecterMD) and My favorite Games forums (demonkingpiccolo). Thanks for keeping in touch, I haven't been talking to alot of people lately. :) --VorangorTheDemon 10:25, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've been going on YouTube a lot too, as well as a similar site called Video Sear.ch. I've been to MyFavoriteGames before. How is the new wiki? Lord Sesshomaru
But don't you think the bold links in Goku's article stand out too much? I mean, its too attractive and the other Dragon Ball-related pages don't have them? Lord Sesshomaru
Perhaps. I don't know. But we were planning on cutting down the Goku summary even more. --VorangorTheDemon 06:53, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I asked you earlier if you were astounded by the new wiki. I mean, isn't it so much better now? Lord Sesshomaru
Oh sorry, I didn't read that part. I went there to check it out and like it now, it's a lot better then it was when I left it. Not only does it look better, but it looks like they've cleaned up a few of the articles as well. Was that some of your doing? :) --VorangorTheDemon 02:37, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yep, I've done a few more edits here and there. I've acquainted myself with the new user responsible for doing the majority of those great changes as well. What do you happen to know about Steve "Daimao" Simmons? Lord Sesshomaru
Absolutely nothing, why you ask? Has he given you trouble? --VorangorTheDemon 02:51, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
LOL!!! He is the one responsible for translating most of Dragon Ball's Japanese-audio into the English subtitle text on the DVDs. He also translated other shows like Full Metal Alchemist and YuYu Hakusho from their Japanese-audio to English-subbs. Eh, I guess not many know of him. Lord Sesshomaru

LOL! I don't pay attention to that stuff. The story is all that concerns me, not the people who make it possible :D. --VorangorTheDemon 03:19, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, he's not just the one who made things possible, he's also the center of anime fandom, especially Dragon Ball. Many people, fans essentially, look up to him as a point of reference. Reason why I brought him up was because I suggested to the new user at DB wiki and to sysop Dantman that we should use the names he and the rest of anime subbers gave to the characters at that wiki. Example, use his version of "Gyumao" instead of the diverse names given in the manga; Gyuumaou, Ox King, Gyū-Maō, Gyû-Maô, etc. Understandable? Lord Sesshomaru
In case you didn't notice, I created a {{Talk:Hannibal Lecter/Archives}} for the Hannibal Lecter talk page and its not working. What did I begin wrong? Lord Sesshomaru
Thanks for the info on that guy, and I have no idea about the Archive thing, you might want to ask someone else. I'm an idiot when it comes to editing on Wikipedia. Sorry it took me a few days to respond. I've been busy with work and such. talk later :)! --VorangorTheDemon 22:23, 17 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Been a while also edit

Hey MJV, You know thats my nickname for you shorty, How you been? Well I have been off and on checking but not editing only commenting. Been on Krillin's page arguing with a unknown but we came to a agreement. Well I just wanted to say hello and I may be back at less part time soon. Holla back when you get a chance. Naruto Uzumaki edit

So you're also a Naruto fan? Hey, join the Naruto taskforce, if you want though. The Naruto Uzumaki article needs more ISBNs. Do you own any of the manga graphic novels by Viz? I'm still collecting other cool manga like Hellsing and Saiyuki, I'll get Naruto as soon as I complete more collections. Lord Sesshomaru

I'm a fan of the manga, not the anime. I hate the anime, esepcially the English dub. I have a few Naruto mangas, not really enough to say so though... Thanks for the offer, I might consider joining. :) --VorangorTheDemon 23:06, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Majin Buu edit

Can you look at Uglyguy2006's addition at that page, he unwillingly changed all of my edits, see [4], [5]. I told him in the edit summary to not add more plot information, which he seems to be doing, and his edits there are worded strangely in my opinion (he placed "Vegeta suicides himself", "Buu's name is a pun", ... "his name is a [[pun]]", etc.). It would be great if you could "chainsaw" this Buu page again and/or give your guidance to him. Can't quite tell if he junked up Future Trunks' page too. Dragonball Z manga and animie & Super Saiyan eye color edit

I have one question and one statement.

Question:

Since when are we only going by the manga version and not the animie version? I don't see how it can hurt to mention both the manga's and the show's version of the series?

Statement:

I have several pictures of Super Saiyan eyes upclose. I spent alot of time looking at all the shades of green they most closely resemble and it came down to Teal in the dark and Persian green in the light. I thought it was just a little bit closer to teal (of course that is strictly my opinion, if they look more Persian green to you, that's fine we can change it to that) but I can assure you they are most definitley NOT light green.

See for yourself in these pictures:

(Vegeta) [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13]

(Trunks) [14], [15], [16], [17], [18], [19], [20]

(Gohan) [21], [22], [23], [24], [25], [26], [27]

(Goku) [28], [29], [30], [31], [32], [33], [34]

(Goten) [35], [36], [37], [38], [39], [40], [41]

Fair use rationale for Image:891.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:891.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use.

Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —♦♦ AMBER(ЯʘCK) 13:37, 30 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use disputed for Image:Silence!.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Silence!.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:23, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Try to make the character articles more encyclopedic by making them less in-universe. See Jigsaw and Amanda's articles for guidance. Also see Jason Voorhees, which is a featured article. (Obviously there is more information on Jason available than the Saw characters, but it is worth looking at to see what's considered the best of the best.)
  • With Saw IV coming out, there is bound to be a lot of vandalism and speculations. Please keep an eye on the articles.
