Speedy deletion nomination of Usuario:Vivaelcelta edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Usuario:Vivaelcelta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. –Dream out loud (talk) 00:29, 6 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

December 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Usuario:Vivaelcelta, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Look, you can't create an user page in the article namespace; that is why I tagged it for deletion. Hi!

About your question: the code is at b:pt:MediaWiki:Gadget-ImprovedEditToolbar.js. There are examples of how to modify the toolbar at mw:Extension:WikiEditor/Toolbar customization. That page also shows how to use mw.loader.using calls to get the dependencies needed, in case you are planning to use this as a user script (the gadget loads the dependencies automatically once we add them to b:pt:MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition). Per WP:COMMONNAME, bio articles are titled with the name that readers are most likely to look for. All Spanish / South American racing driver articles use one surname, not both. Also, if you want to move articles that have used a certain title for several years, it would be better to discuss your idea first. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 11:29, 27 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Per WP:NCCAPS#Capitalization of expressions borrowed from other languages: "If the article is about a work in a foreign language (such as a book or other written work, movie, album, or song), using the capitalization found in most English language reliable sources is recommended." The article Iván Sánchez (actor) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. @In ictu oculi: I don't know if it is a Cuban dialect thing, because I am from Spain. In Spanish when a open vowel (a, e and o) goes a close vowel (i and u), if the close vowel is the tonic vowel, then the word always have accent mark, like: María, Lucía. But with two close vowel, only have accent mark following general rules, like Ruiz. --Vivaelcelta {talk  · contributions} 16:53, 12 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Syren De Mer edit

The article Syren De Mer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails PORNBIO and the GNG. No awards or nomination. No claims of significance. No independent reliable sourcing, just IMDB and the subject's own promotional site.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nomination of Syren De Mer for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Syren De Mer is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Syren De Mer until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. • Gene93k (talk) 23:50, 5 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Satesclop 03:07, 15 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

November 2021 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Mass killings under communist regimes into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Bilorv (talk) 22:00, 29 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Zorra (song) edit

@Vivaelcelta, uh actually I want to know that the b-word you added in this article is the meaning of the song "title" or something else. Can you explain it? If your answer is logical to me then I apologize for the inconvenience caused. CSMention269 (talk) 11:52, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

@CSMention269: Because "bitch" is another meaning and synonym for the Spanish word "zorra". References: Worference Leo Pons --Vivaelcelta (talkcontributions) 11:57, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for sharing. I will revert it back and put it in the song's talk page for reference. CSMention269 (talk) 12:00, 4 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
