The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Utavle Bavle moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Utavle Bavle, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   Hello, I'm Sid95Q. I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Here Your Good faith edits are of your no use as Reliable sources are required for things taking place in future and as per WP:NOTABILITY it is important that every content added and every page created should be notable enough. There are various other policies which you can check on the Welcome message posted on your wall that will explain you everything. Sid95Q (talk) 17:09, 31 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Some Important Guidelines

edit

Hi here are some important guidelines regarding TV and related articles.

  • MOS:TV - Manual of Style for Television
  • Template:Infobox television - Information about the parameters to be used in the television article infobox
  • WP:FILM/R - Reliable sources for film
  • WP:ICTFSOURCES - WikiProject Film/Indian cinema task force Guidelines on sources
  • WP:NOTTVGUIDE - Wikipedia is not TV guide so we don't add information like Time slots and other airing history
  • WP:CRYSTAL- Wikipedia is Not Crystal ball so we don't add scheduled or expected future events like adding end date of the series before the actual date and updating episodes in advance.
  • WP:PROTAGONIST - We don't add interpretive labels like Protagonist, Antagonist, Lead and supporting roles.
  • WP:ELNO - Links to be avoided
  • WP:NOINDICSCRIPT - Avoid the use of Indic scripts in the lead sections or infoboxes. Instead, use International Phonetic Alphabet pronunciation guides, which are more international.
  • WP:CITINGIMDB - Appropriate and Inappropriate use of IMDB as a source

Hello, Vivaanmathur. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Utavle Bavle.

If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89(T·C) 05:45, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive edit

edit

Re: this, when content you add is reverted, your recourse is to open a discussion on the article's talk page to seek consensus for the change, not to resubmit it. The content you've added is largely incoherent and doesn't match content found in any other quality article. Thus, you probably need some help communicating whatever this is supposed to be. Wikipedia isn't a free-for-all, there are community guidelines and a manual of style for television articles. While I don't expect new editors to know all of the rules and community standards, I do expect new editors to adhere to them. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:36, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Note also that content you added in this edit introduces content found elsewhere, i.e. here. This would constitute a copyright violation. Further, you added a plot section when there was already a plot section, and you removed a maintenance template without resolving the issue raised. All of these changes are also disruptive. Perhaps you should stick to simpler changes until you get the hang of things here. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:41, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

No. What I did is resolved the issue. The plot of a page does NOT have to add episode by episode content! Instead, it should show a general overview of the plot of the series. What was already there in the plot was series overview. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vivaanmathur (talkcontribs) 06:46, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

You are very confused. 1) The plot summary you added was copied from another source. You did not write it. The same content can be found here. You may not copy content from other sources. All prose must be written from scratch in your own words. This is a basic principle in academia. If you add back stolen content again, I will suspend your editing privileges. 2) There was already a plot section. It is very long and very detailed. You simply renamed it "Season overview". That doesn't change the fact that it is a plot summary. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 08:21, 24 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok. I will write it on my own. Secondly series overview WAS ALREADY THERE, it was just a table with list of seasons. IF you noticed what was already there was not a plot, it was literally episode by episode detail! I think you need to know from Wikipedia pages what a plot needs to be. Then if you noticed the template maintanece too said that the plot should not be very detailed! You are confused not me. And who gave you the right to stop me from editing. Who are you
