Hi Jeff G., I do not. Island Moments was the show referenced. IIRC, it was the journalist Emme Tomimbang sitting down with the creators of the show and talking of its genesis. It might be on youtube. You could call up KGMB and ask for a DVD of the show, or ask for contact info for Emme. You might be able to speak with a creator. Separately, the book Hawaii Under Military Rule by J Garner Anthony describes scenes different from any episode of the originals series. This followed the in/famous Col Green's exploits, such as abrogating civil courts, closing bars, databasing and interning Japanese, making sure no one changed jobs, rationing supplies, enforcing cur=few and blackouts and defying FDR. Surely a unique situation. Why the creators did not leave us with Nebraska 38 may be because of the weather or exotic females but that would be hard to prove as well. To this day, there is no state police in the islands.
