Adoption offer edit

I see you are requesting adoption - I would be happy to adopt you. Please reply here or on my talk page if you are interested. PrincessofLlyr royal court 00:21, 24 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Any reason you rejected PrincessofLlyr's offer? She is actually extremely experienced and more than able to help you out, IMO. Edit counts and longevity don't mean much here in my book: the quality of the editor's contributions are far more important --Jubileeclipman 18:33, 24 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would still be glad to adopt you, but if you're not happy with my assistance, please tell me. I have posted a reply to your question on my talk page. I was wondering, is English your native language? Not that it necessarily matters, I was just curious. What else can I help you with? PrincessofLlyr royal court 23:08, 26 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm grateful for your assistance, and no, English is not my native language I'm from Argentina Vicenzo08 (talk) 19:50, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

No problem. For a talk page tip, we uses colons (:) to space our posts, such as this answer. It makes a conversation easier to follow. What are you interested in editing? You can contribute even before you've learned a lot or graduated from adoption. For instance, to add Ashley Tisdale to Category:American voice actors, simply add [[Category:American voice actors]] to the list of categories at the end of her article. What else can I help you with? PrincessofLlyr royal court 02:11, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Milady, I follow your advice and I make my first contribution on Wikipedia! Vicenzo08 (talk) 05:24, 29 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

That looks great! Another tip, please use edit summaries to describe your edits. It's a small thing, but helps other users a lot. For instance, for your edit to Ashley Tisdale, you could have said, "adding a new category" or "adding to Category:List of American voice actors". You can look through my contributions for some examples of the edit summaries I use. Also, feel free to look around at other articles that you are interested in and see if there is something you can add. I could give you a few suggestions if you tell me what you are interested in editing. For instance, if you're interested in a certain actor, country, or topic, then I could find articles about that topic that need to be improved. Your recent contributions look great! Good use of edit summaries, which is something most new users don't do. Do you have any questions? Feel free to ask me anything. PrincessofLlyr royal court 21:17, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
