I mean, it could be the fact I know the producers well at Kiss 105-108. But hey, you know best because you read it on the internet? To distinguish between the 3 stations, their official names have East, West and London on the end. Their registration as a station may not state that, but it's in use on their website for example. However, I am far more concerned that you seem to be unable to treat others in a civil manner - and we don't tolerate swearing or inappropriate comments on Wikipedia. I have reverted your edits, because still they continue to remove legitimate info. This is why we have Talk pages, in order to discuss potential edits to an article rather than consistantly re-removing things. --Sagaciousuk (talk) 19:01, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your tone is still a concern. You are under the believe that you are 100% correct, but you have little to backup what you're trying to edit away. I do know people at Kiss 105-108, Stuard Grant (former Head of Programming under Vibe 105-108) and several other technicians. You can believe what you like, but you need to understand that Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and there are ways to go about things - and the way you have handled this was entirely inappropriate. --Sagaciousuk (talk) 19:13, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Kiss 108-108 East Disagreement edit

Thanks for contacting me about your disagreement over the Kiss 105-108 article. I have done some research, and made my views (as an outside and otherwise unrelated party) clear on Sagaciousuk's talk page. I would strongly advise reading it.

Thanks for making your views clear on my talk page. As an outside party, I will be more than willing to reconsider my judgement if you can provide two accurate online sources that state that Kiss 105-108 East cannot be recieved on DAB from Ayr in Scotland. Short of this, I would like to remind you that insulting the Wikipedia's press will not validate your statement. Also, please remember in the future to always sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Thanks very much, Ale_Jrbtalk 21:52, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
If you believe that you can obtain at least two sources for your content, feel free to change it on the article page. When it comes to controversial content, remember that you must always cite your sources. Keep in mind that several sources have been found that do not back up your statement - rather, they state the opposite - and your word is not enough. Just because you say those sites are out of date, does not mean they are. As such, the stronger and more reliable your sources are, the better. Also keep in mind that personal attacks of any kind are NOT tolerated on Wikipedia - insulting someone else will get you nowhere.
Thanks for editing Wikipedia, I hope you stay and help make Wikipedia better. Enjoy yourself. For any future queries, feel free to contant me. Regards, Ale_Jrbtalk 22:37, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
It concerns me that you state a site listing Kiss 105-108 as being broadcasted there as 'out-of-date' - mainly because it was only renamed to Kiss 105-108 last Wednesday... --Sagaciousuk (talk) 00:51, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
It seems until we are able to contact someone in Ayr, we can't prove your case. It's a fact that some reputable websites still list the new Kiss 105-108 station as broadcasting there, and it's more likely logically that it still is broadcasting there post-rebrand than being changed to Kiss 100. 'KISS' can mean either of the three stations, which is why we sought websites with more detailed listings. I can't see how you can dismiss our sources with 'Oh, they've just made a mistake' - when that could well be the case for yours. --Sagaciousuk (talk) 10:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I think the names can remain as they are. It's more to help define to readers which stations are which. Kiss 105-108 redirects anyway, but it would help people who just type 'Kiss east' into search for example. I could rename them, but it's a bit fiddly sorting out all the redirects. --Sagaciousuk (talk) 16:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, probably only the first instance of it in the article needs to include 'east' at the end. --Sagaciousuk (talk) 20:50, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
