Fair-use rationale edit

Hi Veritaslux1776. You reverted my edit at Columbia University School of General Studies because "These are the most well-known of GS alumni. Rationale clearly exists." Please read Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline to learn what an image-use rationale is. Each use of a non-free image must be explained on its file page (e.g. File:JD Salinger.jpg) with a rationale and currently none of the uses in this article are covered. Unfortunately, I don't think there is grounds to use them here at any case. We want to keep the use of non-free images minimal and use them only where there is high contextual significance. Typically, this means that non-free images of deceased persons may be only used on the articles about the person (WP:NFCI; for an example see: J. D. Salinger). The threshold of contextual significance is high, and the fact that these are well-known alumni doesn't change the fact that using these images here is not absolutely necessary for the reader to have an encyclopedic understanding of the Columbia University School of General Studies. I have reverted your edit because this is a copyrights issue and not simply a matter of taste; you can raise the issue on the article talk page if you disagree.
