Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Timtrent were:

This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

What you have done is written a reasonable, but anodyne, resumé without showing the subject to me anything other that a WP:ROTM businessman, albeit somewhat senior one, doing his job.

I cannot spot the activism. One may be an Amnesty board member without being an activist one's self.

You need to prove that he is notable, please.

Dear Timtrent, thank you very much for this valuable guidance. I will add references to prove the notability and make more clear that the subject made key contributions to launching the operating systems for the mobile internet (Android/ iOS) as we know them. This has earned the subject many accolades, amongst them from the World Economic Forum, the German Federal President and their home country Austria. I will adjust the activism side to be more logical. I hope with these changes the article can be approved. Verify.now (talk) 21:41, 26 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
